Just spent over 2 hours clearing out and defrosting my freezer and strangely, in this heat it took longer to defrost than it usually does, even with the help of several kettles full of boiling water :-S :-( :-(

I admit that it was due for a de-frost but the reason I did it today was that my dear hubby managed to leave the freezer door slightly open and everything in the front half melted :-| :-| :-|

I only noticed because I came back from shopping with a pack of frozen peas so went to put them in when I returned.

I have lost over half the contents and will have to spend the afternoon cooking some into dishes which I can then safely freeze :-(

Men !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband does the same, wouldn't mind but there is an alarm to tell you the door is not properly closed, he manages to dodge the alarm every time

Just found out today, OH's G grandfather married twice within a couple of months, bigamous of course :-0

Belated Happy 4th Birthday Fred :-)

Just spent the morning washing curtains and packing up everything from living room and dining room.

Painter is coming 8am tomorrow and he has been told he better turn up after I have spent the day clearing the room ;-)

Now I have to pick new curtains, cushions etc. :-D :-D

Gee

Gee Report 3 Jul 2015 17:31

Linds

If you are buying new curtains, why have you washed the old ones?

:-S

Dea

Dea Report 3 Jul 2015 18:39

Good question Ginns - that is what I thought too :-S

Dea Xxx

P.S. - I daren't wash my curtains as they would probably disintegrate - it is SO long since they were last washed :-) ;-)

I don't have curtains Dea, I have roman blinds

I once washed some and argh.................they shrunk and that was after advice from the made to measure company that made them :-|

That was a very expensive mistake

Never washed any since and I can find no one who dry cleans them :-(

Linda

Linda Report 3 Jul 2015 20:18

I cant store dirty curtains !

I think son and partner might nick them so as I have a washing line as opposed to a rotary drier I was nice and washed them :-(

Just finished eating and sitting on my b*m for the rest of the night ( well after I bring in the last of the washing that is )
