jax

jax Report 19 Apr 2011 17:18

I cannot find a marriage for her there are 5 marriages between 1883 and 1911 four of them are not her and the last one in 1911 I have not looked into as I cant find her in 1891 and 1901 and there are no deaths that would match in her maiden name

jax Report 19 Apr 2011 17:21

That what I'm thinking Fans not much chance of finding her then I suppose

Ah well another brickwall...must go and post it on FB a dozen times then

ja...x

Edit - Now thinking the 1911 marriage could be her found a Mary Ann Allen right age with a John W Allen in 1891...could be her then pretending to be married??

Dea Report 19 Apr 2011 17:57

Think I have found the Allens in 1901 and 1911 he is a tailor in 1911 and a sailor in 1901 think that could be wrong..but in 1911 says they have been married 28 years ( which could be a lie)

Why is this marriage not on london marriages

Marriages Mar 1911 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Allen John W Southwark 1d 20

Sweetapple Mary Southwark 1d 20

Then again why marry there if they were now living in Kent??

Maybe I should just give up on this one as fallen in the Thames or killed by Jack the Ripper and never found

Lots about the royal wedding on the news...the security thing is scarey.

Also, it seems as though Prince William doesn't want the traditional fruit cake at the wedding....

but Prince Philip says he is going anyway!!

- sent to my daughter.......sigh.

Cleaned my downstairs carpets this afternoon. I have a cleaner like a vacuum cleaner.....it won't do as good a job as an industrial cleaner but it does freshen them up nicely.
