Find Ancestors

There was this couple Fred and Myrtle Flutey and they filled their house with Paua.... all over the walls everywhere and now people go and visit it. It is right down at the Bluff in the South Island.

If you google Paua house or their names you will see it.
A lot of paua jewllery is sold in the souvenir shops here. Nearly everyone has a piece of paua somewhere. A Maori friend of mine when she got married she had the inivitations all done in paua and there were bits of paua all over the tables at the wedding breakfast.... she doesn't like shell fish... it is unheard of a Maori not liking them.

I really dont know why I have bothered to mention it

I used to always use Za but then all sorts happened and even when I googled za it would default to Uk and I hadn't really noticed.

Someone else said to click on the NZ flag and whilst it was slow it would work.... I don't think the NZ site has ever been much use to me.

I guess no one took any notice cause you always seem to be hanging around lampposts.

I didn't want to, and have been exchanging emails with Accounts ...............


Today's result:-

They have changed my country of address to UK, as that is the only way in which I cna be charged in pounds sterling and not US dollars

They have refunded the charge of $14.45 USD to my credit card, and I can now pay in £ sterling

BUT in doing so, they have thus reduced me to a FREE member, and want me to pay £20 for 12 months

This is far more than the £9.95 minus 20% discount that I was offered 2 weeks ago, and far more than the $14.45 USD that I was charged!

I am "discussing" this with them ........ but of course it is now past closing time in the UK

If it remains at £20, I will most likely NOT rejoin


I have asked Cynthia to let people know please?
