	Well at least Sylvia can read even if she can't post.... so here's to you Sylvia.... I will have a glass of wine... just trying to make up my mind whether to have red or white....Chardonnay or Merlot.... those are the two I have opened. Do any of you want any with your bacon sarnie? I was going to provide Ostrich Pie today we had that at a brunch at my cousins. Are you lot going to turn tail and run for the hills or will you be "game" to try it... I saw it in a restaurant once as Ostriche carpaccio and even I wouldn't eat raw ostrich... even if it had been marinated. Persie

	I would try ostrich because it's no different from eating a chicken or a partridge or a pheasant

	Funny thing is I am not that fussed about eating chicken. I will never buy a chicken sandwich or chicken filled roll because I am concerned about the temperature of the food. Chicken was a luxury when I was a child and I started eating it when I was 17 it was either eat that or go without a meal on a plane. But I am happy to do pheasant, wild duck etc (spit out the pellets) ;-) Gets out best wine glass for Dea..... Persie

	Hi all, I LOVE a nice Merlot! I am lucky to live just out of a wine making region that has same fantastic varieties. LOL I sound like a lush, but I think it's all good in moderation! Aghhhh I can't open my tree now without returning an error..and all I want to do is change a first name, how frustrating!

	The Merlot I have opened is an Aussie one... probably not a lot of oak.... I like Merlot Jelly on my toast..my daughter brought me back a little pot from the South Island it lasted all of five days. My favourite wine is Brown Brothers Muscat... but will just about drink anything of theirs ... I reckon they are the best Aussie wine makers. Grace... did you come in via ZA. If I type it in I always get the tree all set out first. But now I am back to favourites with ZA and it comes straight to whichever thread I was on last. Jax has been having a lot of problems with getting on the boards. Persie

	Hi Persie, I don't mind Brown Brothers but we went there and they were so rude, when we came back I actually wrote them a letter. They called me and were great and sent me a case of all their cellar door varietals which made me a bit happier, but I would never go back, when there are so many other nice ones around. No I come through the UK site which is generally good. It has now let me back in, so I don't know what is going on, but I have never seen so many people complaining about the interuptions to service. Ohhh I just saw an ad of this sliced fresh buttered toast dripping with butter, now I am having cravings! :-)

	Cravings Grace???? Ooooer! Waving to Sylvs....~~~~~~~~ mind you, she'll still be asleep...silly me. Was going to go back to the shop to change my curtains this morning but had a visitor which put pay to that! Hope to go soon.......barring more callers of course.

	LOL no just hunger cravings! Hope you can exchange the curtains okay. We are looking at repainting the rooms - I say room because once you do one then they all seem to need it1 Luckily I like the smell of fresh paint!
