I would prefer it if the column for views wasn't in fact there! - I don't think it serves any purpose.

Neither does the 'answered' column - It only confuses people.

That is just 'my' opinion though
;-)

I just wonder if GR are doing the same as other websites re the View thingey. I'm not that interested to be honest but i certainly think that Green Tick should be kicked into touch.

I'm hoping to take my poorly friend out for a short drive tomorrow. She hasn't really been out since last autumn so I'm not sure what to expect. I do wonder if she will get slightly panicky at the last minute. Will do my best anyway.

Have a good night one and all ~~~~~
looking forward to reading your interesting overnight conversations.... ;-)

Ahh well the way this site is working at the moment I am surprised any newbies are around

Having just looked at this deceased online and found my dads uncle and aunt that he never knew buried about a half a mile from where we used to live in Romford, got me looking for the rest of the family.

Think I found gt grandparents buried in Islington in 1918 and 1935 which was not quite in the area that they were living but they had six children that died before they were a year old when they were living in that area so maybe they are all buried there?

To see anything you have to pay would you be able to see if these six children are with them? I know five of the names but they are not showing when I put the names in

Ummm just found one set of twins buried in Cambden? on the same day when they were 5 months old...how sad

and I'd posted on there earlier :-D

jax

jax Report 11 Jun 2011 05:19

Yeah you posted a minute after I did :-D

My gt grandparents had two set of twins that all died as babies the other set were born 16 years later all managed to be baptised but lived less than 6 months.

Strange I could find the burials of the first two but not the others...must be because they moved into the essex area from Islington to walthamstow, cannot understand why these two are buried in cambden (st pancras) and not islington

Ja...x,should that not be Camden and not Cambden?Camden is St Pancras (By the lock and street market,I worked there in a shop in the 80s)

http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/10062011/36/parking-free-causes-chaos-wales-0.html

Free for all parking, makes a change as Ceredigion slapped a parking charge on the disabled bays in car parks a couple of years ago but forgot to tell anyone.!The notice was put on the ticket machine and of course no disabled had seen it as they didnt have to get a ticket. Also the ticket machine was too high for people in wheelchairs to reach to put the money in anyway..!
Right stink there was about all the tickets handed out...

Carmarthenshire have not put a charge on disabled parking,yet....

Going to rain here again soon by the look and feel of things....

To put the washing on the line outside or on the clothes horse inside??Hmmmmm,Big decision... :-S
