oh dear


this really has been a very quiet thread!


I've spent the evening working on the inventory of stuff we have at the cabin ............... we do it at the end of the summer when we are closing up so that we know what is up there and what we need to take up the following spring.

I bring the list home with all good intentions of typing it up "immediately"

Hah!


Haven't once done it earlier than the week before we're due to go back!

Porridge, Bear Mush Hot Cereal


In the warmer:-

bacon, sausage patties, turkey sausages, cheesy potato patties, omelettes, frittata, grilled tomatoes, grilled mushrooms,


Buttermilk Dollar Pancakes, Maple syrup, Saskatoon Berry Fruit Syrup


Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis), Danish, croissants, lemon and nut muffins


Jams, jellies, seville orange marmalade, marmite, peanut butter, vegemite

Weekends tend to be a bit quiet round here but I suppose it's understandable.


Sorry LK my friend - I'm not near enough either......can't think who is either-.....scratches head...Nope.

We're all a bit spread out really-in distance I mean before anyone mentions middle-age spread!!

I could do with a drink... have been out most of the day cleaning a rental property, this is the third day I have been there. Some people do make a right mess and break things and leave half their furniture,clothes etc and we have to get rid of it.

Plus I had my grandson with me, he will be back to school on Wednesday, they certainly recover quickly from appendix operations these days.

I haven't looked to see if Cynthia has got her curtains sorted, am glad that the chookie photo went.

Wow Ginny those are a nice pair of legs hanging around the filing cabinet... I take it those files are all your genealogy records all neatly sorted.

Will try and make breakfast tomorrow <3

Hi Persie......nope. No curtains :( The ones I originally bought looked too anaemic against my white walls. There's no urgency so I will wash and re hang the ones I have till I spot some that l like.

Evan wll be 10 on the 20th... I gave him one of his leggo toys today in advance.... it has kept him happy all day, constructing and deconstruting various types of vehicles from the pieces.

Oh no he has just come into the lounge to tell me he has lost a piece in his bed and he thinks I will probably be able to find it. Not entirely happy with my suggestion that it won't be going anywhere and I will look in the morning. OH said... is this going to be like dolly's sock... Evan's mother when she was 4 woke us at 4am at my MIL's place because dolly had lost her sock and there was no going back to sleep until we found it. LOL

Took me 20 mins to type that ... not really was doing it in the commercial breaks.

We spend hours and hours choosing curtains Cynthia... to the point that the sales person just about becomes your best friend. We take home so many samples and go back and forth. But you are right... what looks okay in the showroom when you get them home and in different light they don't always look the same.

Evan has just reported that he has found it... OH said oh good we have been in a state of anxiety and the little lad told us that he pulled the bedclothes right back because he was in a panic..

Yep you are trying to grab all the glory when I have a thread on suggestions started straight after they launched it...plus I had one of FB that turned nasty because SG got involved and I mentioned it when I reported a post on LR for being a duplicate telling them that I thought it was a ridiculious board so I want some glory too :-P

Trouble is when they say they are going to move posts they dont. I noticed two 1911 look up requests yesterday on Genealogy chat not by newbies but darn't mention it after what happened last week

HID has just recieved an email from some company saying they have seen his CV and have a suitable job for him.

Re the changes to the FLR board.....that means another board for me to check doesn't it? :-(

I hope GR give VERY clear instructions on how to use the board otherwise we will have people posting and not knowing how to return etc.etc.
