OH hooked the trailer up to the car yesterday, to make sure everything was working for when we leave on Thursday with it loaded.

Nope, lights not flashing properly.

it's a problem that keeps recurring

He took car and trailer into the garage this morning ..................... they told him some years ago that he should stick to what he does best, and let them do electrics as he just messed 'em up when he tried!


seems it isn't the trailer's fault .............. something's not right with a "module" in the car.

They're going to get in 2 "modules", he takes trhe car back tomorrow morning, and they will install the one that works best and is easiest to install (thus cheaper labour cost).

I haven't seen that program on Margaret ............. but she certainly was a live wire, drank a lot, and was quite the playgirl in the 1950s. Her temper was reputed to be on a hair trigger at times.

I'm not sure you can blame her ............... she wasn't allowed to marry the man she loved, because he had been divorced. And then there were rumours about the man she did marry.

She had no "job" to do

the "firm" certainly didn't seem to use her as well as they might have done.



But she was an extremely beautiful woman!

Ja...x - re Princess Margaret...the stories I used to hear in my earlier years were that she was thwarted in love by not being able to marry the man of her choice and so lived the high life in an attempt to kick over the traces. Maybe just pure hearsay of course. I obviously don't know the true story. She was certainly a beautiful woman in her younger years and looked radiant at her wedding.

Oh yes I heard that too...I missed the first half hour but she seemed to be in love with Tony but she was a right cow to him after they married always having parties being drunk and falling over, pair of them having affairs

I am sure they must have had permission from at least her kids to make a dramatization like that

gosh this thread has been quiet today!

just had a call back from the clinic .................. have to have more mammograms done to "check" something

I go on June 28.

I was just beginnign to breathe easy because they had not yet phoned after I had the 'grams done on June 2.



Of course, I do go to the family doctor on June 23 to get the result of the June 2 mammograms

I wonder if she will be able to tell me anything? :-S
