Nope Ja..x, never had an accident and not a point in 25 years....thats whats so unexplainable

I do have business insurance, which is always more expensive but the hike this year is totally ridiculous

I got a quote for non business and it was just over £300 which is pretty good for the car I drive

Other car drivers at work have also seen a massive hike in their premiums

Dea

strangely enought, this was on my Symantec page when I switche don the 'puter this morning

www.besthealthmag.ca/look-great/hair/5-reasons-to-stop-washing-your-hair

I do remember my English sis-in-law (the daft one!) visiting about 15-20 years ago, and holding forth about some tv program where this guy had persuaded participants not to was their hair for weeks.

everyone then was going YUK!

But it does make a lot of sense not to wash your hair as frequently as many people do

Including the fact (as the story in the url above says) that most shampoos contain additives that are actually dangerous.

Well, I haven't watched any television since I got 'poorly' about 3 years ago so it must have been a few years before that when I saw it.

It was very impressive though !

Mind you, when you are in the situation where you can't wash it, that thought does not take away the 'itch' !!!

Re Insurances,,,, Because of the continuing earthquakes in Christchurch all our house insurance premiums have increased.

We just had a hot water cylinder pinched from one of our rental properties when it was vacant for a week and the insurance quickly covered it.. The cyclinder probably did not have that much life left in it anyway so it was a bonus in a way. Our property manager said it would only be vacant for a day.. if we had known it would have been a week.. we would have made sure the alarm was on and we keep lights going at night for added security.

What a frustrating day.

Home visits again.
Did a couple of deliveries this morning.
Then we went to our first 2 tests.
Husband and wife both wanting an early retest because we they had symptoms and could not see out of the glasses we made in March.
They were both wearing the wrong glasses so of course they could not see,
Next test was difficult with a dog and cat climbing over me wanting constant attention,
Next test knock on the door and no answer, His daughter rings me back to say he is in hospital and she thought about letting us know-------but did not.
Next test
well my daughter took me out on Saturday and I got my eyes tested and have new glasses on order.
Errr so why did you not cancel us?????

We drove around 60 miles and spent ages sitting in traffic jams.

We have a waiting list to see people but were fully booked today.

Dea

Dea Report 4 Oct 2011 19:21

Well Ginns,

I think I can claim to be the 'most pooped' !!!

I have spent since 8 o'clock this morning sorting, photocopying and collating info for 'you know who' tomorrow! - You would not believe how much correspondence is involved!

I reckon that by their charges I have done well over £2,000 worth of work today :-D :-D :-D

I really IS pooped!
