Gracie

I meant to post when I first saw the photo of your little un.......

What a fab photo, I love all her little chunky folds (my kids were just the same at that age) ... she is just soooo cute <3

Can anyone spot this family in 1861/1871?

Good morning all. Lovely breakfast Sylvs...thanks....the same as Dea I think....yum.

Persie....I don't need a pole, polished or otherwise - that was R's idea! He has some very strange ideas at times.

Must nip off and buy some paint for my decorator who is due tomorrow!

Actually Cyn I was helping Gins out she was whipping a hat around

"Christmas gift for Cyns.......a pole

Anyone want to chip in?"

Just pointing to where she could get one (unless she already has one and could get it locally)

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 18 Nov 2011 18:41

To be honest R, I would rather have the chips........ :-D

So, where has everyone gone tonight...........?

I have, at last, finished stripping the wallpaper. Crawling along a skirtingboard has lost all it's appeal now.......

Looks like it's wall to wall Children in Need stuff on tv tonight. Must say, I do admire Matt Baker for his Rickshaw challenge. I actually just admire Matt to be honest!

For those of you from across the water......

Hi all
xxx

we got 1 - 2 cm of snow in our area overnight. Some higher areas got much more.

Traffic kept the roads clear, and it didn't stick on the sidewalks

............... but the grassy areas and rooftops are still white now ..... and it's after 11:30 am.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 18 Nov 2011 20:36

Fans has Mr Hurricane so she will be crackered.

The rest of us are just .....crackers.

Had a Lancashire chippy tea last night with Linford Christie and Tessa Sanderson. At 6pm there was a knock on the door. It was Fatima Whitbread.

Are you 'hallucinerating' Cynths ???

I think it must e the fumes from that wallpaper glue ;-)

Hope you feel better soon!

Dea Xxx

P.S. - Yes, you were right - grandchildren day - I is Kerkerknackered !!!

I'd like the Lancashire chippy tea ;-)

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 18 Nov 2011 20:58

Dea.....it was a joke. Read it slowly and remember the chat we had about Lancashire accents..........especially the last bit.

Dea

Dea Report 18 Nov 2011 21:04

Must be too tired Cynths - can't work out the first 2 but I believe when they delivered the food from the chippy they must have forgotten the bread and butter so Fatima must have come back a little later wi' t'bread.

Enjoy anyway,

Dea Xxx

Gee

Gee Report 18 Nov 2011 21:10

Dea Xxx

Gee

Gee Report 18 Nov 2011 21:43

Err...no Dea

Chips an scraps (scraps were always free)

We never called it a chippy tea....it was very rare for us to have chips and when we did it was always Saturday lunch
