Just got back from my mate's funeral. He died after being hit on

I’ve just found my charity to give that money to (that my brother gave me for Christmas lunch) a local family that are really struggling to make ends meet

They have just been on the local news and can’t even afford Christmas lunch........that’s where the money is going, I’ve just emailed Look North with my details

Bless......its so sad that people cant even put a meal on the table

When I got rid of my (perfectly good) 3 piece suite for a tenner and 'take it away' plus a load of new carpet off cuts - I had the most beautiful letter from the lady who took it - she was SO grateful that she had a whole newly carpeted and furnished room.

SO sad - It makes you feel very humble doesn't it ??

I was nearly in tears listening to their heartache yet they were so upbeat and not asking for anything at all. It was just a story to highlight how tough things are for some people at the moment

The money will buy them a lovely lunch and some goodies for their little girl
