I am getting confused now!!

Can't quite read this - is it chinese??

"and Hossana in hsi jim jams"

"Dea, its a tablet, it does all the same things as a pc and more"

I have several tablets every day but I just have to swallow them with lots of water ;-) :-D :-D

I 'think' I understood Cynthias explanation a little better - It is a camera, a phone, a computer and a scype (skipe ??) thingy all rolled into one and tucked into a 'little thingy' that you have to work with a touch screen ???

Anyway - I am sure that JB will LOVE it !!!

Would this Ipad do every thing I need and will I be able to see the screen?

We were astounded yesterday

when I was returning those tops yesterday, a store announcement came over the tannoy ...............

the department store was going to be open until 11:00 pm last night ................... and to 9:00 pm tonight. On Christmas Eve, they will open at 8 am (instead of the usual 9:00 or 9:30 am), and close at 5:00 pm. They're closed on Christmas Day, then open at 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Boxing Day

The rest of the Mall was going to be open until 9 pm (the store I was in also has an entrance direct from the outside) every night until Christmas Eve, when they will close at 5:00 pm.

I still don't like shopping on Sunday, although we have had Sunday shopping for many years. It's usually 9 or 10 am until 6 pm

............... but the grocery stores such as Safeway are open from 7 or 8 am to midnight every day of the week .... some are open 24 hours. The Pharmacy in our local Safeway is open from about 9 am until 8 or 9 pm.

Gins, I ain't even going to answer your question about carols.....just to say that it was all very worthwhile and enjoyable :-P

I think our supermarkets have to close at 4pm here Sylvs. Not sure about other shops to be honest.

I don't shop on a Sunday I have to admit. I will buy things like ice cream and coffee as relaxation but wouldn't dream of a general big shop unless it was absolutely unavoidable........I have always planned ahead to try and make sure I have everything I want by Saturday. .Sundays are still special for me. :-D

Despite them being special they are still manically busy at times....like today. Must get some beauty sleep before I fall out of my chair. :-D Night all. <3

ja...x it would be worth trying to get to a shop which sells ipads so that you could see if they are right for you. They are very light but you need to check if it's right for you. You could also google I suppose. :-D

Pity they can't come around to Jax so she can check out and see what suits.. They are all so buddy different. One Granddaughter has one thing and the other has another.

Gosh I can remember gramophones where you wound the handle... LOL.

Jax I see you have been reading the same page as my OH on gall stones... I had a piddly little bit of grit and my mother had two very very white powdery stones.

I weighed less after both my kids than I did before. The first one I lost heaps whilst pregnant.. damn annoying no one stood up on the bus for me .. nothing showed until the eighth month. With the second one I had mumps in the eighth month and was house bound.

Daughter off for a CT scan this arvo...

What about the smaller laptop ... a notebook one that doesn't have the calculator keys on the side... my daughter has both and uses the small one to cart to and fro to work.
I considered this do like my calculator on the side when I do a lot of spread sheet work... but it is dam cumbersome when I take it with me on the plane.
I can't be doing with taking it on the bus so I end up with notes everywhere when I go to the library.

I had a different pregnancy with the 2nd one although I looked pregnant I put on less than a stone (14lbs) and she weighed 8lb something, so I lost that plus all the other bits when she was born.

I was having morning, afternoon, evening sickness throughout even up to an hour or so before she was born. Started getiing indigestion type pains when she was a few weeks old and got bad with violently sick for hours when she was about 6 weeks old. It was'nt until my wonderful caring husband eventually noticed ten months later, even though I had been to hospital for an endroscope (on my own) called a locum dr who sent me to hospital.

I do not know how many or how big mine were, they never told me

Good morning all - ahhhhh bacon, tomatoes and fried bread....just the job on a cold and misty morning. Thanks you Sylvs.

Hello Gracie.......I'm sure Dea could manage a roast dinner in a sauna......(you know what she's like ;-) ).

ja...x - it may just be worthwhile getting HID to take you to a store to have a look at ipads and things anyway. There may be something there which will be easier for you to use :-D

If you like reading, have you thought about a Kindle? They are very light and easy to use. The kids and I have put together to get OH one for Christmas. We don't travel now but, a friend of ours reckons it beats taking a pile of books away on holiday!

Shower time....~~~~~~~
