That reminds me, I should get some Asparagus... that and Goats cheese omelette sounds rather nice....

I had some Egyptian feta with my streaky bacon & salad tonight saw it on special at a place we have called Nosh... it is very nice..

There are not many cheeses I don't like... <3 :-D

Good morning all!

I did notice that you served brunch yesterday Sylvs and though I had got my days mixed up but I didn't say anything as I thought you might cancel it and it was SO lovely to sit and eat it in fromt of that roaring fire!!! ;-) <3

I will have to pile my plate high and 'run' today as I still have grand-daughter here and she is waiting to play 'Uno' and make trifle and make scones so I have a busy morning ahead!............

Sylvs is about 8 hours behind us Gins - when our NY strikes, it's only 4pm on NYE for her.


That looks wonderful Sylvs..........kinda glad I'm not going anywhere tonight with that to look forward to. <3


We're still finishing off bits from yesterday's celebrations but I'm sure I'll find room... ;-)

Had a great day yesterday.

Yes it was all in one day.

I would have loved ice skating at one time but it would be foolish for me now.
I watched the others though.
Grand daughter had one of the penguins to help her.
Sat in the coffee bar to give his presents.
Not ideal but the best we could do this year.
