Morning.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Dea, don't you just check in your My Threads box to find us??

If that is cutting down on food Sylvs.....well, I'm a Dutchman!! :-D

Waddle.....hmm......yes, that reminds me. There used to be a duck at Martinmere nature conserve called Cynthia. :-S I had to endure that for a while. :-D

My OH's legs are really nice and his feet are lovely ....as feet go.

I take care of my feet too. I can't stand seeing gunky feet in sandals in the summer - all grey and scaly.....eeeeeeeeewwwwwwww yuukkkkkkk. Sometimes I slather my feet in vaseline, pop on thick cotton socks and pad round like that for a morning. Lovely and smooth they be !!!

Why the heck am I talking about feet at this time in the morning :-S :-S :-S

Thank you for clarifying "Margaret" as mentioned by Dea,,,

I always come on through my threads hence I miss quite a few new threads at times..

My OH's feet are/were a bit of a problem. Toe nail removed completely off one big toe,

Other foot had large bunion type thingy thus making it difficult re footwear. So he got the end of his little toe chopped off so that shoes would fit better.. Eventually foot was getting more misshaped until he had to have bone broken on the big toe side and then screws put in.. for the benefit of the detectors at the airport. Lot better now...

Not sure whether that is enough :-S :-S :-S

Gins.....a mousse can be a light and fluffy dessert.............

Very virtuous Sylvs.....using all that leftover food up. :-D

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 2 Jan 2012 22:07

and where would they have got MOOSE, the animal, in the UK??

Over here .......... it's very common, usually killed by the person themselves. Although becoming more common in specialty butchers shops, as attempts are being made to "farm" moose, just like cows.

'course it was virtuous of me, C :-D

Jonesey was talking about cooked reindeer and I eat Venison, and have a recipe or two for Moose, I think I would probably like it.... Sorry Dea...

Some of the Chocolate Mousses can be a bit rich.. prefer a tiramisu or a pannacotta

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 3 Jan 2012 01:27

Moose is very good ........... as is Bison.

Both are much like Venison, maybe a little more gamey.

I've had them all as roasts, stews, tenderloin, sausages, etc
