DOG does NOT have Mange..It just looks like it.

DOG has PUPPY STRANGLES..!!!>>>Google it,nasteeeeeeee.

It was diagnosed by a Somerset vet

MY vet had never seen it before as it is rare and all FIVE vets came in to look at him, even the owner of the practice that I was actually in the same class at school with...

Steroids and biotics have been upped today 3 fold as it is rampaging a bit(it is curable and not contagious to animals and humans)and now he is eating us out of house and home due to the steroids ...

Vet says as he is a very SPECIAL DOG as was seen by the attendance of Mr H telling all and sundry......He is MY Dog .......that they will do everything and anything to help him and even only charged half price for his extra meds cos Mr H said he had forgotten to bring his money to the Dog Dr..... :-D

WGF
I would have no probs killing and butchering the fatted calf....Being a farmers daughter and having been in the butchery trade when in my 20s I reckon I still have the skills....Me first in line fore the luverly melt in yer mouth veal please....Licking lips aty the thought.... :-D :-D :-D :-D

Just because I added my name to this site in 2007 does not mean I used it...they never got any money out of me till 2010 when I decided to try and build some sort of tree

That other site beginning with an A says I have been a member since 2004....news to me?

if you remember, I had problems last year because GR decided that I had to pay in US dollars seeing as how I lived in Canada

I worked out that I would end up paying almost twice the pound sterling amount of £7.50, which they had offered me in an email.

Obviously, I complained ................ but they faffed around so much that my sub ran out

and I was reduced to a free member, like Cyn was

I dickered back with them ............ changed my place of residence to UK as that is apparently the only way in which they could charge my card in pounds sterling not US $

They then charged my card at the FULL rate ................... and finally remitted some back to the card.

I THINK I finally ended up paying the £7.50 they'd offered me!

I am disturbed at the letter sent to ja...x

I like to have my membership as Single, so I control which card I use ..... it's been like that since I joined, but I always have to check because it changes back to the default position of Continuous quite regularly.

Just a few weeks ago, I tried to change it back to Single, and a note came up that implied one only got the benefits of long-time (ie, pre 2007) membership if you stayed on Continuous.

I finally got an answer from Rachel on a thread on Suggestions (I think), that all benefits of past membership stayed no matter whether you had Single or Continuous.

I must try to find that thread

I found that thread

Bonuses for long term members

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.page/board/suggestions/thread/1287838

My question was:-

"Ever since I joined in 2004, I have had my membership showing as Single Membership

Every year, GR has sent me a renewal email, and I have renewed within the time period.

I am considered a continuous member because I have never let my subscription lapse.

Does this message that appears when I ticked Auto Renew OFF mean what I think it means?

"By turning off auto renewal your subscription will be left to expire on the 9th June 2012. Also any features purchased with this subscription will also expire on the same date."

In plain words, does that message mean that GR WILL NO LONGER BE SENDING EMAILS TO MEMBERS WHO USE THIS FUNCTION TO REMIND THEM THAT THEIR SUBSCRIPTION WILL END AS OF A CERTAIN DATE.

In other words, will you really deny a member renewal, and much more importantly, increase the subscription from the £9.95 per year to $19.95 per year?"

The response from Katie was:-

"Hi Sylvia - Apologies for the confusion. The sentence; "By turning off auto renewal your subscription will be left to expire on the 9th June 2012. Also any features purchased with this subscription will also expire on the same date" does not mean that we will not be sending you an email to remind you of your renewal. We will always remind you that your subscription is coming to an end.

'Features' are a form of mini subscription available to Platinum members. If a Platinum member wants to view Parish records or any other records not included in their Platinum membership they have the ability to add that 'Feature' to their subscription. This is what we mean by features. As you have pointed out it does not make much sense for Standard members, so I will have a think about how I can make this clearer. "
