Hi all, hope you are well.

Gins I am starting at Weight Watchers today, I really need to shift some weight, I don't feel healthy and would to be remotely slim again!

Renes

Renes Report 10 Jan 2012 21:26

I come back on the 20th -- I will have to try something to lose this weight

Tracey did really well on a "mixed diet plan" -- she had one day off a week and seemed to eat loads -- I did ask her what it was she was quite vague

I have a problem in that most ""plans "" are pasta based and 5 out of every 6 recipes are tomato based

Isn't it strange how we all wan't what we cannot have, or at least, not without great difficulty !!?

When all my health problems kicked in at the same time, I went down to less than 6 1/2 stones. It then took me more than 18 months to struggle up to 7 stone but I made it !!!

I am now keeping the weight on just above this level but it has been hard work.

The rest of you are above this and struggling to get back down !!

We are all struggling but in different directions :-D

I wish you all well in your efforts but also wish that you could pass on just some of your losses on to me !!! ;-)

Nite nites all,

Dea Xxx

Very true.....but all my weight is soooo unhealthy. Unfortunately i tnd to eat my feelings, and had a bit of trouble with depression. Combine that and I LOVE food so always find it hard to resist, but I really need to omethin to make sure I am around a good whle longer for my girl's sake.

Dea you are welcome to mine, although not sure how i will package and send it on to you!

Hailing, pouring rain and blowing a gale here today...wouldn't know it is Summer! We have the heaters on at work!

Very hard to get PJs with cords in... he does have one pair and the cord broke awhile back... so I found some cord to go through them... I have still got my father's Fireman's Braces... hmmm

Thank you Fans for that observation... he goes around holding them up,,, forgets reaches for something and then they are on the kitchen floor. He wore his overalls outside the other day and his grundies kept falling down inside them...

Renes.. this Optifast is not cheap.. and I am still trying to recoup all the money I spent on Christmas presents out of my housekeeping. I am so looking forward to when we get two pensions... and then I can have free bus, train and ferry boat travel here in Auckland. All day from 9am... Wellington is stingey they make you pay for the bus after 3pm and I don't think their suburban trains are free. :-S

The thing is to keep the weight off... I lost over 11kgs before I finished working and I was okay until I broke my foot... stopped all my walking and put it all back on again. :-|

I do not think however that I should complain tooooo much

This news item was on our 6 pm TV news ........................

"The small (about 2,500 people) Alaskan town of Cordova) had 3-4 METRES (18+ FEET) of snow in the past week, another metre to metre-and-a-half is forecast for a storm due in the next 2 days. Houses are buried up the eaves .............. and the National Guard have been called in to help. The town is accessible only by water or air ........ but an avalanche has cut the road to the airport! "

Im guessing they have been evacuated from their homes in Cordova?

I bet the damage to their homes is shocking with all that weight....do they have a strategy on how to dig them clear?

Mean while, we have daffys that are in full bloom in some parts of the UK :-S

Happy Birthday FbyG...

Are you going to join the weight loss group?
>>>>>>>>
I have lost 4 kgs whilst he has bee on this diet... LOL

Gee

Gee Report 11 Jan 2012 07:41

For Gracie

http://tinyurl.com/7sg2hr3

Mines not this brand but very similar and weighs 3kg which means you have to work to keep it up

When I first used it, it brusied my waist, but after a couple of days it was fine and I have to say it works a treat on the waist, tummy and bottom.....it really works!

I use it in front of the tv so I get less bored. Started this week (again) and am doing 5 minutes a day with 20 sit ups, next week, I'll up it to 10 minutes a day and so on until I reach 30 mins a day

Worth every penny........and you could get the little un a toy one so she can join you :-D

Gins

they're not such wimps!

They're still living there.

People climb up onto the roofs and push the snow off. ;-)

Problem is, they're running out of places to put the snow they remove!

Snow's a good insulator against walls etc ........ and even on roofs ..... though the weight becomes a problem. That's why they have steeply sloped roofs.

All you do is dig out a path to the front and back doors, and to the wood pile.

Streets are ploughed of really deep snow, so you can drive to wherever ..... and life will continue as normal.

The National Guard are just providing extra man power for digging out.
