I keep meaning to look for quorn... don't hear of it much here.
Only recently seen quinoa and think I may get some...

With him not having meat on this diet of his I have only been having seafood or maybe something when I am out.. like Mrs Badger's mince pie. But will have a couple of rashers of bacon every so often.

I had a phone call today from a customer letting me know that the manager that I dealt with had died on Monday

One of my students who died three years ago, also worked along side this lady...how very sad, both too young and both so tragic

God bless em

I don't rally like quinoa

one of J's freinds came for lunch one day when we were staying there, and brought a LARGE bowl of quinoa salad.

Managed to eat enough to be polite

So J made it on another visit because I had liked it :-P

OH gave me this really disgusted look ........ and put about 2 teaspoon fulls on his plate!

Went for dinner to a fancy restaurant, had bison ( :-D ), and they replaced the potato (contained dairy) with ............... hot quinoa. I managed to eat about half of it well-drenched with the yummy sauce for the bison

Not a favourite of mine ........... and I'll never cook it myself :-D

Gins

What was your latest weight loss -- saw everyone saying well done but could not find it --- Well done from me anyway

I have lost something more at last 0.4 kg -- so something

Think you are a bit wrong on your Soya mince -- being dearer than steak

did a check --- several supermarkets are doing the 2 for 1 on labeled Quorn mince -- Tesco are not -- their normal price for 500g labeled Quorn mince is 3.19 -----

I can absolutely assure you that no """"beef steak """" can be purchased at 6,38 a kilo !!!!!!! ----- nor ever has been in my lifetime

And we await the outcome of long term use of "Mycoprotein" that is the main ingredient in all Quorn products. It's made from a member of the fungi family,
