Good morning all - must be time for breakfast :-D

I will have Chicken Karage followed by Caribbean Banana Fritters drizzled with syrup................ Yuummmmm!!

I am so looking forward to lunch - It 'all' looks delicious but you have my very favourite salad starter today - "Warm goat’s cheese salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing".

I prepare that quite a lot myself and usually make a whole meal of it in the summer time.

Thank you Sylvia,

Dea Xxx

Sprouts.........lots of em please :-D

Dea

Dea Report 19 Feb 2012 10:11

Ginns - you need a 'balanced' diet !!!

And that does NOT mean 6 sprouts on one side of your plate and 6 more on the other !!! ;-) :-D

You must choose something to go with them!

Thank you - That is much better Ginns :-)

Sprouts are my little grand-daughter's favourite vegetable and have been since she first started on solids ! - She is totally addicted too, though I must say that I like them also. - She calls them 'brussels' though?

Jonesey Report 19 Feb 2012 13:29

I too like sprouts but they can have a rather unsociable after effect. :-D

Dea

Dea Report 19 Feb 2012 13:46

Thankfully, I have never found that to be the case myself jonesey, but I have heard it said many times!

Trust Jonesey to lower the tone.....................scrubber

Saying that, you should try eating All Bran for breakfast, sprouts for lunch and beans for dinner :-0

As a follow up to my post of last week I guess I may never know ..... been following the Stafford obits daily nothing there and no answer to FB messages to husband.

He has also changed his FB and all posts of condolence are not there any more.

Such is life (or death) as it may be

Moving on...................... ;-)

LK, glad your granddaughter is feeling better. Youngsters can be like that can't they? Down one minute and full of beans the next. Keeps us on our toes though!

Beautiful sunshine but a very chilly breeze here today. Quite springlike and invigorating in fact..........but I'm still glad to sit down!

Must go and do some messaging methinks.........

Dea we exchanged Christmas cards in 2010, I sent one in 2011 and in a FB message her husband, when he let me know of the doctor's prognosis said that it was received but due to circumstances, which is understandable, they didn't send any out.

I don't want to intrude into their grief at this time as I am totally unaware of the divorce circumstances.

I have not told my brother anything yet

Edit

How long must I wait until the death can be searched, and can anyone request a death cert

They are transcribed on line up to about 2006 now but I am sure that I read somewhere that they will not be putting any more on line ???

I suppose you could try googling for undertakers in the area and contacting them?

One of them must have arranged the funeral, if indeed you are correct in your assumption?
