Daughter phoned this morning EARLY

I was still asleep :-D, and OH was just about to leave the house for church (choir rehearsal before service)

She asked grandson if he wanted to say Happy Easter to me

so he shouted two words in my ear, that might have been Happy Easter

I asked him to give Mummy a kiss

Daughter came back on phone .....

"did you ask him to give me a kiss, because he just did!"

Gee Report 9 Apr 2012 19:51

Ive always had a combi boiler Dea, since I left home.

Cant face the thought of heating water, for it to go cold in a tank!

I LOVE my new boiler and the remote control it has<3

Dea

Dea Report 9 Apr 2012 19:55

Sounds REALLY good Ginns but I wouldn't want one as I would miss my 'airing cupboard' too much.!

'Plumber son' keeps trying to persuade me :-D

We got rid of our tank 5 years ago.....never looked back. At least we know it won't burst........ :-D

It's been quite an idle day today....a little bit of ironing and that's it!! I used to do jigsaws until I got a computer........... :-S

Has Jonesey gone away or summat......? Not like him to miss commenting on having a dog named after him.... :-S

I have a quandry!! - Can anyone help please?

As I mentioned recently, I have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis - my quandry is that I have been told to do 'weight-bearing exercises' in order to help strengthen my bones.

This is a concept that I truly cannot understand at all!

I can see how certain exercises can strengthen muscles as they stretch and contract, and tighten skin etc., but bones do not move so how can they be strengthened by exercise?

I can only see how they can be damaged by 'weight-bearing' , not strengthened??? :-S

I am totally confused - Is it just me??
