DO NOT GO TO WIGWAM....!!!

8 Hour round trip for a two hour chat...Not that I did much of that cos well....The Old Baggage cant alf talk the hind leg orf a donkey...But the coffee she spared no expense of buying me werent toooo bad I spose. :-P

The traffic was awful,the weather was awfulbut I spose the company wernt too bad really..

Just going to open those couple of bottles of wine I HAD to get on the way back to help me recover from the shock of meeting Baggage...Been back about 30 mins and now having dins cooked for me and Bezzie by a very nice man that drove me to Wigwam and back...Thank you Richie <3 <3 <3 <3

Suffed full of cous cous and lamb with nuts and raisins and herbs and garlic.....Just orf for a lie down with a nice bottle of wine,that will help me get over the day fanx

Very true Gins............an ice pack would be a good idea.


I am taking to my bed to recover. Without a bottle of wine. A couple of aspirins perhaps.

Porridge for a gruelling time.... yes I got the pun..

sounds like you was doin' porridge there FbyG...

Coffee time for me.. just coming up to 4pm.
Yesterday I put my coffee in the plunger, boiled the water, pushed plunger down and hey presto no coffee... ya gotta put the water in... thought there was no resistance when plunger was plunged...

Good morning everyone


rather wet outside, at the moment :-(


Breakfast is ready


Fresh fruit salad with vanilla yoghourt
broiled grapefruit with brown sugar


Porridge with chopped up dates, bananas, and maple syrup (other fruit selections over there >>>> )


Selection of cold cereals


French (eggy) toast, maple syrup, Golden syrup
Caribbean Banana Fritters


Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis, gluten free),
hot cinnamon rolls,
croissants,
cheddar chive rolls,


bacon & cheese quiche,
broccoli and cheddar quiche,
smoked salmon quiche,


Full English
Ulster Fry-up,
stirfry (chicken, or vegetarian),
Chicken Karage (Japanese deep fried chicken pieces)
cheesy sausage and egg bake
Chicken breast, bacon, tomato and lettuce on focaccia roll
chicken or vegetable samosa
Ham, cheese and tomato on toasted bread


cheesy potato patties
home-fried potatoes with garlic and bacon


Potato, dill and cheddar soup
Butternut Squash and Roasted Garlic Soup with Caramelized Vidalia Onions (vegetarian)


blueberry gingered lemon muffins, a
cranberry & orange muffins,
morning glory muffins,


Cheese scones,


jams, jellies, Nutella (hazelnut spread)


Tea, coffee, juices


(some extra bacon, turkey sausage or sausage patties, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, sliced baby golden beetroot, Maple baked beans, olive oil, in the hidey place to cook up for the very hungry ones!)

forgot to answer C's question re "what are golden beetroots".


They are tiny beetroots, coloured yellow or golden ................. they are lovely sliced and baked.


I've only ever had them in the tiny stage, so don't know how they taste if allow to get as big as we usually use red beetroot.


I think they are fairly new to the market.

Been to the garden centre and spent some quids,feel much better now as I got some nice herbs that help relax you when you have suffered TSD like I did yesterday... :-D

Naughty but nice what I found at the bottom of Mr Hs prezzie bag last night Baggage...Thank you...Well I presume it was for me and not Mr H ....Its ALL gorn......
