Good morning campers! I see Dea has been wreaking havoc again :-D

Hi Mo ~~~~~~ don't know why I'm waving cos you'll be asleep :-S

Okay, I'll tap gently on yer eyelids........Mo....Mo.....I'm waving...~~~~ :-D

Sylvs....what a spread for a Monday morning..........wonderful.......erm...something with bacon I fink.....thank you. :-D

I like using both a mouse and a mousepad Gins....I use my laptop most of all. I don't have any probs with it getting in the way.......mind you, I do type 'proper' like. Not one of the two fingered typists I'll have you know. I can type a whole page without looking at the keyboard.....note my modesty :-D :-D

When I remember, I wipe the keyboards with an hygience wipe thingey but I also vaccum the laptop cos I get crumbs all over the place.... :-0

Once, one of the letters disappeared and I had to go rooting in the vaccum bag to find it..... :-(

Must go and prepare myself for my Big Night - wonder how many firemen will actually come in??????

Now, what shall I wear............ ;-)

Good morning all,

I have just woke up from 12 hours lovely sleep and there are no grandchildren coming today so I have time for a BIG breakfast :-D :-D

I will have a portion of everything savoury, followed by the Caribbean Banana Fritters drizzled with syrup.

Delicious.....

Thank you Sylvia, <3 <3 <3

Dea

What a disappointment Cyn,

All that fantasising about hunky firemen with their long hoses, big helmets and large choppers arriving aboard a gleaming red machine wasted.:-(

Never mind, I'm sure that it will be a nice van just nowhere near as impressive that's all. ;-)

Good morning all,

Another very lovely breakfast - thank you Sylvia <3 <3 <3

Wish I could say the same about the day but it is wet and nasty here too :-(

Those cherry trees look beautiful Sylvia - it looks like a very pretty place to live.

Hello all,

Scrummy breakfast Sylvs - thank you. :-D

It's wet here too but, as Gins says, a lot of the country need the rain at the moment. We're okay up in the NW but down where jax lives is bone dry apparently.

Have been busy doing some tree work on A. I found some papers I'd forgotten I had and have been perusing and searching etc. Good fun.

Thought of Jonesey as I watched Heir Hunters whilst making the bed yesterday morning. There was a problem case and the company were stuck on it - then - they discovered an online tree - brilliant - that is until they discovered that the amateur genealogist in Oz had got it all wrong and was following the wrong family! Now, where have we heard that before?? :-D

I'm sure they mentioned something about certs being £20 a pop though!! Will have to listen again to see if they mention the costs today. They, of all people, would know about the GRO surely???? :-S

See you later ~~~ <3

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 17 Apr 2012 08:51

Cyn,

The fee quoted for obtaining a cert was actually £30 a pop. That made me sit up as well but of course they appear to need the cert ASAP and send someone to fetch it and presumably pay extra for instant service. Unlike the likes of you and I who can usually wait a week or so before confirming that great aunty Gladys had a couple of kids we knew nothing about. ;-)

It was nice to see the programme stressing the point that certificates are a necessary expense if accuracy is to be achieved.

Gee

Gee Report 17 Apr 2012 09:44

So, you think about Jonesey when making the bed, you think about me when bleaching the bathroom........

...........Id love to know when Fanny enters your head :-0

Gee

Gee Report 17 Apr 2012 18:15

Oh my.....where are you lot today?

I just started the chili, I use a VERY hot powder from an asian shop.....put in two heaped teaspoons of paprika and the tiny end of a teaspoon of chili powder

..........nope the other way around! Had to rinse the veg before the toms/quorn went in..........phew :-0

............very lucky escape :-D
