Golden Beetroot .. we had them when my mother was alive and she died in 1985. I bought the seed for my father and he grew them... they only ever did beetroot served in vinegar so they did the same with the yellow ones.. they looked dumb but tasted the same. I fort what a waste of time thinkin' that one up. Maybe they wouldn't stain your tablecloth as badly if you spilt some.

I have been to osteopath today and am still as sore as when I went in.... been like this for several days now.. right pain in the "shoulder" and not sure what caused it.. but am now well prodded and decricked and decracked.

Back later for breakfast.. I shall need to decrack some eggs.

Persie,

Sorry to hear about your shoulder (I assume that is not a euphemism) problem. Have you considered that it might be a frozen shoulder? I have had 2 of them and they are very painful.

The condition can suddenly appear without any obvious cause. Usually but not always it will occur in the opposite shoulder to your "Master" hand so for example if you are right handed then more often than not it appears in your left shoulder. Have you got full mobility in the affected shoulder I.E. can you raise your arm fully upwards?

Thank you Persie,

It's very good of you to cook this lovely breakfast when your poor shoulder is SO sore! <3 <3

I will have some tomato bread today please with lots of lovely bacon, sausages, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes.

Delicious ......................... :-D

SO pleased GR let you into the kitchen

Good morning all...............

Lovely breakfast Persie - thank you. Rather taken by the caramelised bananas..... :-D

I've had a frozen shoulder too Jonesey......they don't 'alf 'urt - in fact, I thought I may have dislocated it as the pain was so bad.

OH took me to A. and E. (He was still driving then) and, after an x-ray, and having to 'crawl' my hand up a wall as far as I could reach, I was told it was 'frozen' and that there was some calcification. They gave me a cortisone injection and, voila, I have been fine since.

All this was helped along with the moans and groans from the labour ward above us.............all the windows were open... :-D

Hope you get some relief from the pain soon Persie..... <3

Hmmmm.....now 'someone' has PTD??? Do wish she would make her mind up and decide what she HAS got!

PTD?

Pokemon Tower Defence
Permanent Total Disability
Property Tax Division

Anyway, how could anyone have any sort of disorder after meeting me??

:-D :-S :-( :-0 :-| :-\ ;-) :-S :-) :-D :-S ;-) :-| :-( :-0 :-P :-) :-S :-D :-P :-S

Not a frozen shoulder, though if I could have got one cheap I would have done a roasted shoulder of lamb for breakfast in a herb and breadcrumb crust...

Can raise my arm okay.. but yes it is left arm and I am right handed but then when on the computer all hands to the pump etc..
Have been told not to do to much with it right now. I was quite intrigued as to the things he did to me holding my left wrist and shaking my arm while sticking his finger in my armpit.. I was thinking thank goodness for deodorant.. He was very very good and I was in there with him for nearly an hour. I have some exercises.. rolling a ball up and down the wall with my shoulder tomorrow afternoon but I am sure it won't affect your early morning munchies Dea.

Does pokemon have a tower defence? I know nothing about these games..

I suppose pokemon would need a tower defence, so it could fenestrate its opponents...

What do you think of this Dea?

I was reading in the humouress section of our newspaper today:
When e-mails go wrong..
Woman writes: "I decided that the best motivation to make me lose weight was to photograph myself and be totally appalled by what I saw and then be able to see how wonderful I looked so slender a year later. So I set the camera up and took photos in my rolled down knickers sideways and front on, very slouchy so the after ones would look fantastic. The next day my son rang to say "What the hell are you doing sending me photos of yourself like that?" Somehow I had attached the file to every other letter that contained attachments that day. The local council, when I sent photos of graffiti on the local bus stop, was just one of the many recipients."

I am not suggesting you take photos Gins..

Souns like it was quite a good idea Persie - until it 'went wrong' that is.

If this is true - how VERY embarrasing for her :-0 :-( :-(

:-) :-( :-S

supposed to be factual... in the funny things that happen to one...

My favourite one that I know is true was a little girl for her three year old birthday wanted a Cake with a dolly in it.. so Nana made a Dolly Varden cake.. and all the little kids are sitting around waiting for their bit of cake. Mum takes the doll out and there is a sultana stuck to the doll's bottom. Ooh yuk says birthday girl Dolly has done a poo in the cake.. and none of the kids would eat it.
