Porridge is bubbling away and I have started on the bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and fried bread - ready in 5 minutes...

There are plenty of fresh fruits and yoghurts etc.

Please help yourselves.

Oh I never thought of "that" Henry :-)

My son was going to put out outdoor lights up at the weekend BUT my OH cannot find them :-S

We bought new ones last year and he threw the old ones out. I am positive that when he cleared the garage out in the summer he also threw out a set of lights (thinking they were the old ones)

Of course he denies doing so. He has agreed that we should just buy another set though otherwise it will be Christmas before they are up

Now all we have to do is hope that there are still some left in the shops.

Can you guess what today's job is ?

I have had real problems trying to post on here or to send any PM's for the past hour.

This site is going down the tubes fast :-(

I still have the tree lights from mom and dad...they still work. I light them up every Christmas, don't leave them on though

BTW....had a great day today at College.........it's good that I have decided to balance work........with LIFE!

I have been so stressed this summer, what with work and life.....I enjoyed teaching today, the first time in a long time!

Sylvs, at the moment it's temporary but, with things as they are within the deanery, it looks as though it's going to be share and share alike with whomever is available. The days where each parish had it's own vicar and knew his community are, sadly, going to be a thing of the past in many areas. :-(

Gins glad work is now enjoyable

I agree Karen Carpenter had a great voice (thinks to myself have I got her CD )

I wish I was nearly finished by Christmas shopping. My lot are so hard to buy for they would be happy with cash but I like to give them something to unwrap.

My No2 son and his wife are the worst to buy for even her Mum agrees ;-)

Must go and make a start on catching up :-(
