it's been raining hard since late afternoon, and now the wind has got up :-(

had the basal cell cancer scraped off my leg this afternoon ............ have to keep it covered for 2 weeks, changing the plaster every day


ah well ................ it's gone now!!!

Thankfully, OH's chest was clear so he has some linctus to help calm the cough. I hope it works soon as the spasms can be very dramatic....or maybe that's because he's a man ;-)


Because we now have separate rooms with a baby alarm to link us, I am getting wakened by what sounds like a seal barking very very loudly. Yep. That's what the cough sounds like when echoed through the alarm!!! Quite startling at 2am I can tell you!


Housework and then take my friend out - unless it's raining.....Be good.~~

I don't mix up the two of you as 'people' but my fingers often type one name instead of the other :-D :-D - I think it is because they both end in an 'ia'.

I had a weird dream last night. I was on an island called Belarus........odd as this place is landlocked in the real world!

The whole island was hit by a tsunami and we were almost certainly doomed. The kids were little, my car was under water but, the sights of the water were amazing

What the heck did that mean!

OH still has his cough but it's marginally improved I think.

Lots of housework this morning and then took my friend out for a belated Christmas lunch. Mind you, gammon and chips is hardly festive fair but it was very nice! :-D

No1 son update:

He had his op this afternoon and everything seems to have gone according to plan. He was in theatre for just under 3 hours and an ECG carried out after the procedure indicated a normal steady heartbeat so it looks as if the second electrical pathway has indeed been zapped. With any luck he will be discharged from hospital tomorrow.

OH off for another eye injection this morning.........we have such fun as we get older don't we? :-S


At least the day seems quite bright and dry but the sky was absolutely pink a short time ago........as children say......'whatever' :-D

No 1 son is back home.

He is battered,bruised and very sore in the groin area but otherwise at peace with the world. He has gone straight to bed. A job well done it seems.
