I have just warmed through a little home made light vegetable soup for you Linds with some fresh bread on the side. Try to have a little and then put your feet up and have a little nap.

Well you'll never guess what I've done today...........I was watching everybody loves Raymond this morning and the episode was them having a holiday in Italy.

They were outside a little gelato bar and Robbie was amazed how good the ice cream was..........this led me to

........looking on the web for the ice cream bar we went to in Anzio (to die for and Im not a lover of ice cream)

This then led to me looking at photos of Anzio and on a search, holiday sites came up.......

.................this then led to me have a look

..............and booking 10 nights in May (JB's birthday)

I couldn't resist the deal. Instead of the hotel costing £767 I got it for £345...well I cant resist a bargain

Booked hotel as it said this was the last one available (and it was, you can't get it at that price anymore) checked out some flights and found a return for the 2 of us £205

Now, you tell me where you can a 10 night holiday in Italy for £550 for the both of us

I phoned JB at work and asked if he fancied going for gelato.......took him 5 minutes to work out what I was on about!

That sounds quite lovely and I am sure that you will both enjoy it !! <3

I really must get around to renewing my passport and then I might do the same myself !

I used to travel such a lot that all the gilt lettering is worn off my old passport - I often wondered if it would get refused somewhere but it never did. But, it has been quite a few years now since I ventured abroad - I really miss it :-(

I am going to sit down with my feet up and do --- nothing but watch TV got peace as guys are at football :-D

I treated myself to a lie in :-)

Then been busy all day went and got food shopping done, got a few presents.

Went to visit girls and O has changed her mind - again - about her birthday cake
She now wants a princess castle :-D

We didn't get lunch until after 4pm waiting on OH coming home from visiting his Mum and will make dinner.

Then I am going to do some more knitting - don't think I will have O's cardigan done by Sunday somehow ;-)
