I'm sorry I missed that lovely breakfast but................it's all low fat, low sugar and low taste in this house

Too much rich food over Christmas so having a go at eating well

Poor Fred,

No breakfast or even lunch today :-(

Ok afternoon tea instead

Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate

Sandwiches choice of fillings

Mixed pastries

Scones with jam and cream

Just for Gins some low fat cakes are also on offer :-)

I had a really rotten day yesterday PM's sent x

Just been to sainsbuys and didn't buy one think with fat, sugar or flavour in it :-(

Been sorting out the spare room today, it had begun to look like a dumping site.

I found two pc base units, opened them up and removed the hard drive before sitting them at the bottom of the drive for the scrap guys

Had a knock at the door this morning from the boss of the wheelie bin cleaners

Seems one of his staff has been running off with the money. We paid for the year, just before Christmas but are OK as we have a receipt

Gins I bet you feel great after clearing out the room

No 1 son is still clearing his room he has been told he has till the weekend to finish.

M and L want to decorate it so they can change rooms.

I want to get their room organised so it can be used when the girls stay and as a study :-)

It is quite cathartic !

My poppy arrived today, it's beautiful.

The washers that came with it, don't hold it firm on the metal rod so will need to find some that do.

Food shopping all done.

If the weather turns wild tomorrow we don't have to go out

Tomorrow I have one wash to do. I am going to make a pot of chicken broth

Then I want to get our bedroom cleared out

I want to get the living room and hall decorated but might wait till the bedrooms are done.

I want to get the house organised so I can mess it up again when I'm organising photo's

The children have just gone home - thank goodness it's Friday !!! ;-) :-D

It's REALLY windy here too Ginns - I struggled to stay upright when I went to collect them from school. I think I will have to put a bag of sugar into each pocket to weigh me down a bit :-0

I won't be able to have the window open again tonight I expect and I hate it when I have to sleep with the window closed as I wake up with an awful headache :-(

It's getting worse here.....really bad, I've been out to secure some of the garden stuff

You need about 10 reams of paper to help you stay up!

Phew!

Girls home troops fed. Now to do nothing for the rest of the night!

It was really wild through the night. The recycle bins are all over the back garden and its too wet and windy to go and gather it all up.

We have a drip at the chimney but its not too bad will have to wait for a dry day.

Dea I couldn't sleep either so I put on the fan ( the slight noise it makes doesn't bother me) then I couldn't hear the wind :-)

Slept like a log....

It was sooo windy last night, it was coming down the chimney and blowing the fire out :-0

It seems to be settling down now but is still pretty blowy

Its been wild here too. We had the wind and rain all night really wild.

The rain swapped to snow this morning.
The poor birds couldn't cope with it they were getting blown about

Had a dreadful night moire bad news.

I really hope the year starts to get better soon cos I have had enough. :-(
