No Ja...x it wasn't just you

We walked all the way around the buffet table on the first night looking for something that hadn't been hopping that morning as in the insect variety. Sat back down and read an alternative menu. By the third night the waitress just said steak and chips.

Even brekkie was difficult. Thankfully I only have coffee but OH and son (who was with us to help OH) wanted food. But we managed.

When we go back ( maybe in a couple of years time) I want to do it via a cruise. There is one which goes to Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and China. When we went to China there was a lot of luggage in luggage out because we moved every other day. Loved the five day cruise down the Yantze.

I saw that comment Gins and you may well run off! The cheek I put up with on here!

Ja...x , thanks for the comment about frozen shoulders and MS - have been trying to remember if my mum had a similar thing and have a feeling she did. I also wonder if there is a connection between Fibromyalgia and MS somewhere along the way.

Daughter has now gone home. One of the meds given to her last night made her feel sick and dizzy.......sigh.

OH goes for his Consultant's appointment tomorrow and I never look forward to them as you know....it's late afternoon so have got all day to keep myself busy!

Yes Cyn I have seen people on the MS site saying they had been dx with Fibromyalgia when they were being tested for MS. I hav'nt read up on it may do now to see if the symptoms are simular.
I hav'nt been back to see my neuro since I moved here, all he did was shrug his shoulders at me for the 10 minutes I was in his office.

Had a pm earlier....stating that ..........they didn't want their information to be a 'thread', that it wasn't for public consumption and they wished they had never put it there in the first place. Oh yes, and I am not to contact them again!

They have now deleted whatever it was. I think they responded to an old thread.

We know a chef who worked on the cruise ships in the Mediterranean years ago .......... never took a day off for 6 months, worked solid, saved every penny

That gave him the bankroll to come to Canada, marry and open a restaurant near where we have our cabin.

After about 7 years, he shut up shop becauser he was too busy, and he didn't like that ..... he was only open for dinner, but 7 nights a week

and the food was to die for!

Then there was a woman on Friends Reunited who used to work for Cartier, the jewellers, on board cruise ships. She did that for several years, loved it ............. she was from Liverpool, but now lives in New York, near Central Park, and doesn't seem to lack for money
