Everything going really well, dinner went down a treat and I wasn't too late. I'm stuffed and so thought I'd share the deserts with you

had email re my friend's funeral ...... service at the City of London Crematorium next Friday, then get together at a restaurant in Theydon Bois


Had to google ......... it's a village on the edge of Epping Forest.



pretty certain that I will not come over, but I do now have the mail address fo A's niece .......... A's computer has broken down, and therefore the email address I have for her won't work.

My grandparents were cremated at the City of London. No where near where they lived ...strange that, I did'nt go anyway.
Theydon Bois is quite a distance from the cemetary too

A was in a nursing home in Romford before Christmas, but not sure if that was where she died.

She was from Ealing originally.

I grew up in Romford. City of London crem can be seen from the train when I travelled up to London sure its close to Manor park nearest tube I would think is wanstead...I know the crem is huge.

We had to work very hard and very late yesterday as we were preparing for the name change. E WERE CLOSING UP THE PRACTICE AND SUDDENLY FROM NOWHERE I was jumped by a guy roaring. He grabbed my bag but it was well tucked under my arm. I FELL TO THE GROUND AND HE DRAGGED ME BEFORE I could release it. Ray tried to chase him but he knows how foolish that was now.We got back into the practice and Itried to dial 999 but passed out.I HAVE JUST SPENT THE NIGHT IN casualty and just got indoors. My shoulder is broken and Iace in lots of places,I AM GRABBING SOMETHING TO EAT THEN SLEEP.

Sorry about caps. Very difficult to type and I am groggy.

Ray acted on instinct and was very brave

have a good rest and look after yourself x

I am going to try to sleep in the chair so I do not roll onto that side. I also passed out twice in the hospital with pain/ Gotta get the locks changed now.
Also he has our car keys

Ohhh LK - How very frightening for you, and for Ray.!

You must both be in terrible shock from it all !!

Try to get as much rest as you can - I am sure the family and your friends will all help out with anything that needs doing!

I won't send you a hug as that will be too painful but just know that we will all be thinking about you and hope you start to feel better soon.
