I don't normally do reporting as abuse, but I'm close to doing it now

you need to delete that post from this silly gossip thread right now

the person who posted it in antoher thread broke the rules when she did it

I am not the one who posted another person's name in public, I am the one who had the decency not to do that

as far as what I said in private, no, it is no one else's business, and the fact that it was the truth is only incidental to the fact that it is not your business

I have fallen into a rabbit hole where up is down and down is up

first I am told by someone who knew nothing that I should have voiced my concerns by private message

I explained that I did that, and I showed that I did it politely and nicely and that the only response I got was that I was called a liar by the poster in question

now I am told that I may not do that

quite a few people need something better to do with their time than gossip about others behind their backs I think

are there no ancestors need finding?

as this refers to me .................... how the H***L could I have known what you had communicated in private?


all I knew was what I could see on the thread

......... which was you, being unpleasant as usual to another poster, and I reached the end of my tether of keeping quiet about the way in which you have treated her for weeks.

anogg has offered to delete hers if you delete your postings



Instead, the posting you have just put on there is one of the nastiest I have seen on this site other than on Chat threads.




to suggest that someone is forgetful in the way that you did is totally out of order

asked the poter politely what her posts were about in more than one thread beause I was confused

sent her a private message explaining why I was concerned about masses of completely irrelevant records being posted and explaining that I knew other members felt the same way (one of them had said it in a thread just recently and others had said it to me privately)

got the reply saying only that she didn't believe me ......... nothing at all about the real subject matter, all those stupid unrelated records being pasted all over

tried in another thread to make light of the mad copying and pasting because a poster was confused

NEVER............NEVER NEVER NEVER........... told anyone what to do

ASKED on maybe four times that the poster delete lengthy records she had posted because they had been shown to be completely irrelevant when truly related records were posted


all yuo know whas what you saw on that thread

where that poster ... who yes has been following me around ... showed up for no reason and said false things



that poster gets quite sharp with people who post duplicate postings have you noticed?

and yet for two days when _I_ objected to multiple postings, that poster shows up and tells me off

I have never "done" cliques.



I do "do" support of friends or acquaintances being unjustly, or nastily, treated.


I responded to what I saw on that thread, and on other threads over the last 2 or 3 weeks.



YOU may think that you asked politely ........ it came over as aggressive "do not post on here", and you also made similar remarks to other people, giving the impression that no-one else was to post on a thread when you were helping.


I did say "IMPRESSION"



that may not have been what you intended ...... but that is the way it came over.

............. and I guess that means you do not actually have to speak facts about something, you can just say 'oh well I got this impression' even if you claim to get it becuase of something that never happened ...............


your IMPRESSION has to do with one thread and one thread only, the Albert thread, where LadyKira came along days later, after I had been in private correspondence with him ............ which she didn't ask me about in the thread or otherwise to see what progress had been made ......... and sent him information that was probably confusing ...... because I had found much more recent information ............


it is ok for everybody to be all concerned about what I post and how I 'seem' to other posters ..... but if it's one of our friends that is ok .....

and "IMPRESSION" means that is how I read what you wrote


now, we all know that the internet is terrible for the "impressions" that it leaves behind, because we don't get the body language that accompanies the spoken word, either visually or in the inflections in the voice on the telephone.

I do not lie ...... I am saying honestly the impression I got from many more than one thread.



I am not defending myself against you, it really isn't worth it any more



except to say that the "impression" i have gained from reading multiple threads on which you have posted over the last 2 or 3 weeks is that you were usually unpleasant to anogg, and appeared to want to prevent others from helping out on a thread on which you were working.



Unfortunate it might be, but that is the impression I have gained of you.




and unlike you, as I didn't usually post on the threads that I saw, I am unable to c&p anything in an attempt to bolster what I'm saying.

I quite agree Chrissiex, this IS a silly thread and brilliant it is too.


I do hope it is not seen as a clique - I've dealt with enought of those in my time. Anyone is welcome to pop in and out at will and they can be sure of a warm welcome.


I'm totally confused with the screeds of copying and pasting ....."you said, she said, they said" - comments and am not particularly interested.


I just know that there are some lovely people on this site who are here to help others to the best of their ability. If those abilities vary, then sobeit. we should still be able to work together in a friendly manner.

I've been hither and thither but the highlight was watching my 2 grandchildren sort out their auntie's Wifi thingey in 5 minutes flat! I must get them to show me how to use our dvd player sometime.
