Anyone rememebr how school used to come to a halt when Wimbledon was on??

We had a TV set in the Biology Lab, at the school where I taught.

TV would be turned on, and teacher and students would watch it instead of having class.

It was mainly clustering around a radio at the school I went to, althoguh there was a tv in one of the labs.
