Find Ancestors

Irene sent me some bits from the Ancestry facebook page, which I then managed to find.

Horse swill spends her entire life on facebook, from what I can tell. Ancestry alone seems to be a full-time job.

Yup, banned. Have to scrounge through the threads to see whether any of her vicious personal attacks are still there. She obviously deleted her own thread not long after starting it -- nothing if not a coward. Nobody from GR is up deleting threads before dawn, and if so they would have deleted the Jan thread that my posts were in, that was gone this a.m. -- although she might have done that too after I withdrew around 7 a.m. your time -- I actually was working until 2 a.m.! ;)

If anybody wants screenshots by email, I got 'em!

Jan thread went shortly after 7am .................... I last looked on there at about 11:30 pm my time (or ca 7:30 am GMT), and I didn't see it. And I was using my magic eye.

I only joined fb to access the GR page, to see "announcements". I now look on fmp, and made contact with a niece who recognised my name!


But I have email contact with her anyway!

I like fb now, even though I had to be dragged by the hair to join. Some very persuasive friends I have........but, like Toots, it's the keeping in touch with family and friends bit which is best (and some of the games).


The GR page tends to turn into a battlefield which I can well do without.


Youngest grandchild has gone home in a strop because his father won't allow him on his xbox until 7.30pm. We had the full works.....tears, tantrum, trembling bottom lip.......(from the grandson not his dad!) and we're trying hard not to laugh....tut.tut. The joys of family life.......lol



Granddaughter 'option' time has come round.......I really can't believe it...where do the years go?


I remember her father at the same stage looking through the required book to see where his interests lay. He worked through the alphabetical list and stopped between 'Barrister and ......barman'.


Funny thing is, he has worked for many years in litigation with a firm of solicitors and is highly regarded...appearing in court regularly (you know what I mean!) and.....................he likes a beer! So, he wasn't too far out in his choices all those years ago......lol

Back from shopping in the BIG town.
Got 3 bags of compost,lots of seeds and some netting for me peas.
Went in the market and got the vinyl material stuff I want to recover HIDs grandma,s dining chairs etc..."4.80p per meter as opposed to 17.85p per meter in local towns sewing/knitting shop..Quite a saving on 3 meters.
Went in a very cheap German supermarket (Not Li...l)as it was next to DIY shop and bought lots of frozen fish for that recipe that we brought home from Spain...Yum...
Fed mutts and HID and now they are all in bed..HID has walked too much and even though is on some new hefty painkillers(I convinced the Doc.;)it was too much for the poor old things leg to withstand all that shoping of 2 hours,,,,,At least the bed will be nice and warm once I wend my weary way to it..

Trouble is I have bought more work with that material havent I??

Yes you have Fans......... Not to worry though, you know you love to be kept busy !!!
