Have just sorted the threads for a cross stitch picture. Haven't done any fine work for ages just the Christmas cards. Might make a couple of cards for Easter but not too many.

Patricia,

I hope you're not a Footie Lager Lout. Lying back on the sofa with the crisps and 6 cans of Super Lager.

Hi all,
been busy with my tree, my Irish ancestors again proving elusive but had some success with 1901 census. Having a coffee before I do any more.
I definitely need to get my backside up to Belfast and visit records office.
Spent most of this afternoon trying to persuade my 2 1/2 year old grandson that pants are better than nappies but he was having none of it.
I'd forgotten how awkward boys can be !! lol.

Dermot another fab story, keep em coming. Great stuff.

Jean was thinking of you today and hope meeting went well and little Scarlett will soon be settled.

Back later, ancestors permitting !

Stephen my mum use to say you need spares so if you only have 12 pairs you better get another couple incase you have an accident for one of the months. I dont want to excuse you wash them, lol

I wish I had not eaten those kippers they have been repeating on me. I have drunk 2 glasses of milk to try and get rid of the taste.

Mo if I was pregnant I would be a rich women. my body is vacant.
being sent for a scan in the hospital once the doctor threw my papers in the air and said is this some sort of joke.? he went out of the room and left me there he took ages before he came back with a red face sister in tow I could have told her I had two big operatons.
so you see Pregnant noway. sorry Mo.

Hello everyone, hope your day has gone well.
Thank you for all your kind thoughts about Scarlett.
Social services visit went well, it was the duty officer who came, she watched Scarlett very closely, and how she reacted to her Daddy. she is going to recomend that she stays here, with daily visits from Mum, but one of us has to stay with them for a few weeks. She also said they will support Chris's application for custody.
Think I will be off to bed soon, had forgotten what it was like having a baby in the house 24 hours a day.

Good night, God bless, sweet dreams.

Lor whats all this talk about being Pregnant.

I couldnt think of anything I would hate more. I would sooner eat salt.

Pleased Scarlette situation seems to be resolving itself. Trust Mike and Mo nephew are making good recovery.

Been doing a few bits and bobs since I got in. I never seem to have enought time to do everything. I got a book for Christmas and havent even opened the cover yet. I dunno.

Night night.

I had a glass of creme licquer. It said on the bottle use within one month of opening. I've nearly finished it.
Linda I can't do cross sttich or anything like that. I used to do a lot of knittinh but now I read instead.

Hi Pat, I nearly missed you.
I have finished reading the five Virginia Andrews books I bought last week.
And I have just read Danielle Steel's , Southern Lights. Quite a good book it was as well.

PatriciaAnn

PatriciaAnn Report 9 Feb 2011 22:06

Hi Mo,
I'm not really a Danilelle Steele reader.
I've read
1. The House
2.A Perfect Stranger
3. One Day At A Time.

I keep a record of the books I read! How sad is that?

Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 9 Feb 2011 22:21

Thats not sad Pat, many a time I have bought books that I have already read. And that really does P. me of, as they have been re-printed
with a different cover to them. And sometimes I am about a quarter of the way through before I realise I have read it.
