Dont remember much about the day at all, except I was very excited it was our first date. lol

Relatives from Zeal Monachorum. I just love that name. Buried in the local churchyard.

Lots of bulbs coming up in garden which always cheers me up because it means Spring is just around the corner, YIPPEE.
Day off work and apart from taking me ma shopping haven't got much planned (should crack on with ironing as basket overflowing but probably won't, lol). Hope everyone is well this morning and has an enjoyable day.

Cars were covered in what is called Rime Ice this morning. Best way to describe it is that it has the consistency of a Slush Puppy that kids have.
First time I've really noticed that on the cars. Conditions must be just right for it to have formed.

Grey day again. what has happened to the blue skies ?

I was reading an article in the paper yesterday. I dont know if anyone saw it but it amused me.

A pony led police looking like cowboys on a busy road they tried to lasso a foal after it escaped from a field and bolted back and forth causing drivers to slam their brakes on and holding up traffic for an hour.
Members of the public and the RSPCA were also given the run-around before its mother came to the rescure and gently coaxed it back to the safety of the field. this happened on Paston Parkway Peterborough

I thought this was a lovely story

Jean thank you for putting Lee's birthday on today. I ment to say he is home now for his tour of duty in Omen he had some leave then off to his base before going somewhere else, I hope it is no Afganistan again

Lee is the younger son of Mike my son who has been in hospital. it is nice that they are both home on Lee;s birthday.

I have my sister coming for coffee any time now.

I'm smiling at Dermots post above, words of wisdom as always.
Jean send me your ironing and I'll do it with mine tomorrow, lol. I don't mind the actual job of ironing once I start its just the length of time it takes to get it all done, I reckon I've got about 7 hours to do and I'm not kidding. Problem is I have to iron at work as well so never want to do my own when I get home.
Jacket potatoes for tea, nice and easy and something they all eat without complaint. Hope to be back later,

School Reunion

An elderly chap attended a school reunion but was dismayed to find that all his surviving classmates wanted to talk about was their various ailments.

Heart Conditions, Liver Complaints, Kidney Stones etc etc

When he arrived home his wife asked how it had gone.

'It wasn't so much a school reunion' he sighed ' more like an Organ Recital !'
