Hello all. Rita ,Mike has been in my thoughts all morning. Is there any news yet love. I hope you are feeling a little better today.
Pauline, i'm not telling you my secret about where I was yesterday, but saying I was not alone, is enough to be going on with. LOL
What day are you off on your Irish holiday Cath. I am sure you will have a wonderful time, with all the loving memories that you are taking with you. Take care of the headstone though, you don't want any breakages on the way there.
I am going out in the garden in a minute to creasote the fencing. I just hope the sun doesn't decide to vanish whilst I am out there.

Afternoon all, Stephen my OH sings that song to me, lol, and also "When you were sweet sixteen", I'm surprised he can remember that long ago. We're off next Wednesday, I am looking forward to it but we have a bit of work to do on MIL's garden when we get there. She should fence at least half of it off and just let it grow wild but it was Father in laws pride and joy and she doesn't want to which I do understand. Mo, how intriguing!! You've got us all guessing now. Rita hope Mike is ok. Back later,
Cath xx

Do you know the name of any MP or ex-MP who is:-
a) already in jail?, or b) likely to be there shortly? c) anyone else left to 'govern' the country?

Rita, any news yet?
Now Maddie, we do get the sun sometimes you know............ there's just no heat in it!!
I went to Sunderland today and got suck in a traffic jam - due to roadworks, a crash and a breakdown, all on the same stretch of road. Took over an hour to travel about 6 miles down the 1231 highway. Decided to use the motorway to get back home but found I was stuck in a 10 mile tailback, due to another lot of roadworks. Wish I'd just stayed at home.
Mo, that doesn't tell me anything............ you're never alone anyway!!
Marilyn, has your granddaughter started her holidays already? I thought the schools didn't breakup until Friday.

Pauline,
My grand kids go to private schools and get 4 weeks holiday at Easter .....don't ask me why !! I think its disgusting ,with the money the parents pay. but they have been off a week already .
I have just done a curry ........, we were going out but changed our minds , just as good as a restaurant curry and a lovely red wine ... grand daughter is having spaghetti on toast, her choice.
The sun is still shinning here at my back patio and all I can see is the Pheasants, plucking away for some juicy seeds ....that they are not having. as they attacked me last year.. LOL

Pauline, "Me and my shadow" comes to mind. But yesterday Roly was working in my son's showroom, so I spent the day with my friends. It was lovely to be able to look around the shops, and not have a little voice saying, "are you nearly finished yet, can we go home now". As much as I lurves him, I do like my own space at times, or I would go crazy.
Pat, you greedy girl, wheres our cakes then. You could have posted them down the cyber hatch for us, were not proud, a few crumbs wouldn't have mattered. LOL
Still no news from Rita yet then. Oh boy, I hope all is going to be o.k. She has had enough to cope with just lately bless her.

I have had no news from Mike as yet. ? it is a stressful day at the moment Ryan is having his MRI and other tests done today. as well.
I have the noise but in my ears. I went for a walk this morning to get out of the house. I went into the chemist and asked for my two perscription that had been handed in 8 days ago. they said they had not. had them,( as I am stressed out I got confused and could not think when they had been given to the chemist?) she said she would put the order in today. I told her I had three days left of one of the tablets.
I went back home as I wasnt feeling too good. telling myself think positive. when I got home I phoned my doctors thinking I am going for a nervous breakdown at this rate? I explained what had happened she checked and said the perscriptions were there and Dr was signing them before he left at lunchtime. she told me she would give them to the girl who collected the perscriptions and ask for them to be deleivered to me today. she was also writing a letter to give to the chemist. sure enough at 3, 30 my perscriptions arrived..
I dont seem to have any good news nothing is going right thats why I have not been on as my normal self.
but I do think of you all.

Rita you really are having a rotten time lately. Don't worry about getting on here or thinking of us. Im not surprised you're not feeling yourself but just remember we are all here for you. Hope you hear from Mike soon and little Ryan is ok. ((((((((((BIG HUGS)))))))))) just for you.
Marilyn it can be expensive in Ireland, not too bad in Wexford where we go but still a lot cheaper foodwise than here in Guernsey. Pat I love caramel shortbread, could just do with a piece now, lol. Hope you are all ok, Mo I love my OH too but like you say we sometimes need a little space from them especially when shopping. Cath xx

Evening All !
I've been able to sit and enjoy some HOT sun today. A cup of coffee, hills in view, birds singing, a magic hour of peace.
Rita, Prayers for you and the family.
Traffic Jams, The lambs will soon be creating mayhem in the Glen. Loads of dead pheasants on the roads just now. What we need is a Pheasants Crossing I can just see a wee Pheasant in a Yellow Jacket with a Lollipop Stick. At least the cows have horns. ROFL.
Gonna watch Maddies heart throb. (Ken Dodd I think it is)
Back later

Morning folks, Maddie I'm like you and sure I suffer with same syndrome. I love light sunny mornings and long days. Can't be doing with cold and dark. We have no sparrows in our nesting boxes yet which is strange as by now they are usually my alarm clock, one box is outside our bedroom window. Have a good day, whatever you're doing, ~~~~~~~~~~~~to all,
Cath xx
