I had a bet, and it fell. There was another horse that went down, and didnt get back up. I hope it is not too badly injured.

Come on girls, break out the Tizer. lol

Been out in the sunshine today.

Pauline, I dont wear foundations these days, just eyes and lips.

Decided to wear a green top to the AGM tomorrow, with Amber jewellery. Better give me barnet a wash. It is so easy now it is shorter. Of course I shall behave myself, and only drink water..........................................

Yeh, I know, my nose is growing.

Evening All

Tragic news.

Lt. Cmdr Ian Molyneux, murdered on board HMS Astute was a friend of my son.
'Moly' as he was known was a very professional Officer. The last time I saw him was at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. My thoughts go out to his family.

Another glorious day here. We must be due some snow soon I think.

Time for tea. Back later all going well.

Stevey ....now that is sad ....looks like a trivial reason according to the Newspaper.
I'm sure the guy that did the shooting must have been sick or down right angry but it don't give him reason to shoot ... Your son must be mortified.

Maddie ...I have a gut feeling that Neil will be at this AGM ....you are very selective in your choice of outfit ..LOL..... toe nails painted.... got to be something in this ?????

Shelly don't go buying a Wind chime tomorrow ..LOL I still got yours ....

I'm going to bed early tonight , just going to relax and have a cuppa and watch the telly all in my lecky blanket ..LOL

Wind Chimes !

Eat Haggis......that'll make the Chimes go like the clappers.

Spied Neil Oliver heading for the Train Station with a travel bag. Wonder where he is heading for...............he shouted something about a car.......sounded like MG or a AGM......couldn't really make it out clearly.

Shelley I think I might have won £10 but I'm not sure!
I'll find out Monday.
I've been watching Mamma Mia. A good fun film. Nice music, lovely scenery.
Sorry about the sad news, Stephen.

Stephen my polch is full of them
if the door is open i now if the baby has excaped
this was a good thing when with my older children if thay left the door open as i would hear the chimes

also if one of my younger one got out
now the baby trys to take his seft for a walk lol

you see my inerdoor and polch door dont have self locking you have to use a key to lock them so the chimes are just a little safty mesher

Morning all,
looks like its going to be lovely again.
Stephen sorry to read about your sons friend, very sad.
I have cut my OH's hair since we got together 32 years ago, I was an apprentice hairdresser then and he took advantage of free haircuts, lol. I qualified 3 months after we married but within a year I was expecting our first child and never went back to it. Mind you with 4 children its saved me some money down the years.
Time to walk the dog, back later,

Cath xx

Morning All !

Has the makings of a great day again here......the mist is clearing from the hills fast......a sure sign of another hot day.

Well needs must, I am NOT allowed sheep or cows to chew the grass so out with the Magic Machine to give it a haircut. I know it will look good and does smell nice when newly cut but it is a chore I could do without. It's just another one on a long list that has to be done.Keeps me out of mischief.

Wind Chimes, my wife has tried a few over the years, they finish up getting blown to bits in the strong winds we get here.

Lt Cmdr Ian Molyneux, a young man in the prime of life with a great future in the Royal Navy ahead of him cut down in a moment of madness by a fellow shipmate.
Ian came up through the ranks and worked hard to gain a Commission.
In a War zone, it's an acceptable risk that you may be killed,
On your own ship. In a safe home Port, that's the last thing you would be expecting
I feel so sad at the loss his family have to bear.

My wife sat and cried for ages, and just kept saying that she wishes our son was home. I think it brought home the full realisation of how risky life in the Forces really is.

Catherine, Irelands just on the horizon for you now. Have you packed your bags and the headstone ? Will you need Customs clearance for that ?

Maddie, would I wind you up ? Never ! (Well perhaps just now and again)

Have good day ya all !

Back later.
