Hello Yvonne and all the others on friendly.

No I am not so well I dont seem to be getting anywhere ? I had no sleep last night so felt tired today and have a headache.

I looked on the net for a private consultant like Marilyn had said found one near me and emailed and have had no reply.

I went into Town as my head was giving me a problem and I was shivering all the way I am still cold what has happened to our weather.?
I have turned my heating back on.
I went and had my hair shampoo and trimmed thought it might make me feel better ? it was nice and relaxing . My hair dresser a young women told me her boyfriend is running in the marthon this weekend to raise funds for children cancer.she said he has worked so hard and hopes to get a good time.and raise alot of money.

I managed to buy my St Georges Day cards the usual shop I buy them from didnt have any in this year but I managed to get some from Clinton Cards
My sister is booked to go to Turkey for a holiday on 29 th of this month. so she walked down to the coach station to book the coach to take her too Sandstead.this morning
from Hampstead . only to be told they would not be any due to the Royal Wedding. so she has booked herself into a hotel near Sandstead for the afternoon and night, they have a shuittel service running from the Hotel.
she said anyone leaving their booking a coach for that day may find they have a problem

Hi all, it's been freezing today, it's like winter's come back.

Hope all went well for Cath getting away. I'm sure she'll have a brilliant holiday.

Marilyn, have you gone yet?

Well done to Mo's granddaughter for passing her test first time.......... that's better than I did. And well done to Mo for not losing at darts............. LOL

Keeping my fingers crossed for your son Yvonne.

Shelly, how's little legs today? That boy is going to be a heart-breaker when he grows up.

Rita, I hope you get better treatment by going private.......... although you shouldn't have to really.

Yvonne, I send my best wishes to your son for his driving test next week.
My grandaughter told me she was due to sit her test, but I was sworn to secrecy, and didn't even tell Roly, ooooops that went down like a lead balloon. He was not best pleased that he didn't know, but she asked me not to say anything, and a promise is a promise.
How is your OH coping with the loss of his mum. When Roly lost his mum, he found it really hard to accept. I suppose it was made worse by his being an only child, and he had already lost his dad.

Rita, I can't believe you are still suffering love. This has gone on for so long now, and must be really getting you down.
I hope you get a reply to your E.Mail soon, so that you can be seen sooner.
I am wondering like you, how people are going to go about getting to the airports on the 29th of April. The wedding is not something you would take into consideration, when booking a holiday, especially when we have not been invited. LOL
There must be routes around the area where the wedding proccession, is
taking place. Unless of course the drivers have got the day off as well.

My granddaughter sat her paperwork driving test today and passed, she was so pleased. I am not sure what date her driving test is ? she did tell me but I forgot.
I have still not heard from the consultant. so I might take a walk over to my doctors surgery and ask for for an appointment to see another doctor.
if I have to wait I will. I have to anyway.
I cannot beleive how long it has gone on for. sometimes I think I am going mad..

I hope all thoses going on holiday have a great time and get good weather.like to hear all about it when you return.

I have just turned my heating off as I am warm now and my flat is very small.
My son has put his heating on he said it was so cold there. but he has 7 bedrooms so it takes alot of heating.
have a good evening

Evening All !

Another busy day. Glad to have a wee rest. Had my tea, lovely moist chops and loads of fresh Veg.

Rita, You are still suffering, what a nightmare. Time they all got their act together and fixed you out once and for all. I manage to live with the constant 'hissing' noise in my ear. Very seldom does it cause any real problem. If I were in your shoes I would probably start a war on the NHS.

Shelly, How's the wee one doing ? Doing the Highland Fling yet ? LOL.

Pauline did the Wheelchair situation finally get resolved ?

Passing the Driving Test ! Who can forget the magic feeling when you get told the good news. It opens up a whole new world.

Looking forward to my family coming back home from their holiday this weekend. Don't see them too often so I miss them when they are not within easy travelling distance if I want to see them.

Time for Coffee. Catch you later.

Maddie forgot to say I didnt read that article you mention on Tinitus. I missed that I stayed up till 11 oclock last night. thought if I stayed awake I might sleep.?

so I listened to the radio in bed for 15 minutes after taking a sleeping pill. and sneezing half a dozen times (not surprising with the weather the way it is ) I went to sleep got up twice during the night and back straight off to sleep. I didnt wake till 8 this morning. just shows you how tired I was and what a sleeping pill can do it is only a light pill 5 mg.

My old friend phoned last night about 8. we have been friends since we were 5 years old she is 82 and I am 80 so it is a longtime. I sent her 12 sheets of typing about the road and aera we grew up in and how it all began dated back to 1820 .she phoned to thank me. I said it is going into The Willesden History Societies Magazine at Christmas quarter. it is only a kind of newspaper magazine we have among the members. of WFHS
so I am not doing anything at the moment. cannot find my missing Abslom he vanished off the earth and Walter Lee I got as far as I can with him could find no death. thought I had in Portsmouth where he lived when he retired as a 1st class Petty Officer in 1911. I sent for his death certificate. I was sure it was him till it came them knew it wasnt. you may have seen it advertisted on the boards as free to anyone whos family he was in.
well have a good day.

Morning, I've been cleaning, just stopped for a cuppa.

Shelly, our schools aren't off yet. My niece's school breaks up tomorrow for 2 weeks, her oldest daughter breaks up next Tuesday and her youngest breaks up next Thursday. She gave up her job as a well paid accountant and went into teaching so she could have the same holidays as her kids, but it never works out right.

Rita, do you feel better after having a good sleep? It's hard to cope with anything if you aren't getting your sleep.

Yes Stephen, the wheelchair is all sorted now, he's up and running. It's the first time he's had a chair that he can't get the breaks off. He's not happy about that....... but everybody else is!!

It's sunny and warm here, much better than yesterday.

Hello everyone

just about to have a bit of lunch. on my own today, apart from the dog, OH has taken his dad shopping and son has gone to a friends for a couple of days,

Mo, OH seems to be ok about his mum, he's an only child too, his mum and dad divorced when he was 16, she moved away and OH stayed with his dad cos he was doing his GCSE's and still at school, they kept in touch and he visited her when she got settled in her own place. We saw her 2 or 3 times a year, wish it could have been more but with work and family it wasn't always possible. She had been ill for a few years after a stroke.

pleased you got a bit more sleep Rita,

talk later

Ah Shelly bless your youngest son. I would have loved to have seen him trying to pump that inner tube up. I bet he had muscles like popeye by the time he had finished with it.
What a shame he didn't put his programme on record, he wouldn't have missed it then.

Pauline all the children around here have broken up for Easter already. In fact they broke up last Friday, and crikey dont we know it.
Trying to get round the supermarket, with kids running all up and down the aisles, is not an easy job.

Yvonne, I'm pleased that your OH seems to be coping with the loss of his mum.
I think we can all have regrets, about how we should have acted before losing a relative, and how we should have done things differently,
speaking from the experience of when I lost my mum. I felt I should have visited her more often than I did, but with having a family, it was not so easy to do.

It's good to hear you had a better sleep last night Rita. How are you feeling in yourself today.?

Mo, I think we all feel we should have done more after we've lost a parent. I went to see my mam every day, but the morning she died I was late. I feel I should have known how near the end she was and stayed with her the night before.

Yvonne, I'm not sure if I could have coped with the loss of my parents if I hadn't had my siblings for support. I'm glad your husband has you and your son for support.

Shelly, I dread to think of the mayhem if my son and your youngest were together. Did you ever have to pay for the lock on the school door?
