Morning All,
Shelly I was traveling all day yesterday to Norwich it took nearly 7hrs !!
When we got here we had to play with the grand kids before they went to bed then had dinner and fell into bed .....I did.'nt even plug in my lappy.
I have just looked at our little legs....and everyone here has loved him my daughter in law was nearly in tears when |I told her about his finger & toe . so we have all gone gooey eyed over him ..LOL
I'm off flying on Wednesday morning , so you may not hear from me for a week as I'm not sure if they have Wireless internet in the Villa .
Now my daughter in law has given me a load of Ironing to do ..Hmm lovely just what I needed ...Ughhh.

Hi all.
Marilyn, that's a long time to be sitting in a car, you must dread that journey.
Is he awake yet Shelly? Little tinker!!
It's very cold here today, the sun is shining but the wind is freezing.

Marilyn
I use to travel from Victoria (Coach Station ) to Gt Yarmouth three times a year I came to London on holiday staying with my daughter then twice with my son in Camberley. I use to dread that journey it took 4 hours from Victoria to Norwich by coach. I use to ring my friend from there and she would go onto Yarmouth and collect me in her car to drive me home. One day there were lots of traffic problems and we were 3 hours late getting to Norwich . we stopped at Newmarket first then onto Norwich, but the driver refused to take 6 of us onto Yarmouth he said he had gone over his driving time and a private coach driver heard him and took us 6 onto Great Yarmouth he refused any money from us. Before my husband died we use to do the journey in 3 hours .he drove.us.

God saw you hungry & created burger bars.
He saw you thirsty & created soft drinks, Juice, Coffee, Beer, Wine, Whiskey and Water.
GOD saw you in the dark & created Light .
GOD saw you without a good looking, adorable, intelligent friend - so He created me.

Evening everyone, well we are all ready for the off tomorrow. Long journey but well worth it. 15 hours on ferry to Portsmouth via Jersey then drive up to Wales and another ferry trip of 4 hours!! Our son and his daughter aged 6 are coming with us as it is the only time he can take her away this year. Shes as good as gold though and will probably spend most of the drive asleep. Must go and try to beautify myself now (that WILL take some doing), re-paint toe nails, de fuzz legs and chin etc, lol lol. Might pop back later if I have time, if not speak to you all in a couple of weeks. Have a great Easter,
Cath xxxx
Will miss you all lots.

Have a great time Cath. I hope the sea is not to choppy, and that it's all plain sailing love. Little one will thoroughly enjoy herself and will be spoilt rotten I bet. A happy easter to you all as well.
Marilyn, I hope you all enjoy yourselves as well. The longest part of your journey is now over, until your return of course.
Shelly, I loved the photo's of little legs. He's growing so quickly, it seems like only yesterday he was a tiny baby.
Linda, will you be knitting the baby blanket, or crocheting it. That is one thing I have never tackled. Oooh I tell a lie, I did make one once by knitting squares, but getting the tension right, and sewing all the squares together was a nightmare, NEVER again.LOL
I am dead chuffed, my grandaughter phoned me today, and she has passed her driving test, at her first attempt. We have another three grandchildren, having driving lessons. Thats all very well, but when they pass, they want to buy cars, and the insurance for them is sky high, let alone the cost of buying the vehicle in the first place.
Now where has Jean, Pauline,Rita, Stephen, Maddie Yvonne, Sue, Lady all got to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~to you all. A big hello to everyone.

Jeniwren, we drew at darts last night 3-3 but lost the pairs 2-1. To be honest, we expected to lose, as they are top of the league, and are a very strong team. Hows little Scarlett doing now. I hope she is well, and still into mischief. I love it when little ones are mischevious, it shows they have got their own little characters, and are full of spirit.
Maddie, I can't crochet, but when I was pregnant with my youngest son, I did crochet a beautiful pram blanket, and backed it with a lovely silk material. After I had had him, and my first grandchild was due, I decided I would make one for her, but for the life of me, I couldn't do it. Now how mad is that. It took my grandaughter two tries to pass her theory test though. And I bet if I had to resit it, I would fail now, even though I have only been driving since 2004.

Hi Everyone Friends have just left after sharing a lovely meal cooked by hubby. We had homemade bread with olive oil and balsmic vinegar to start. Then clams, mussels and tiger prawns in a garlic wine & cream sauce with carrotts, french beans and asparagus. For pudding he made pancakes filled with apple & sultanas and vanilla ice cream. It was really good and our friends enjoyed it too.
Little M's Mum just called to see if I can have her Thurs & Fri as Grandma was supposed to have her, but she has flu !!! Of course I couldn't say NO, hubby not best pleased as he is off on Thurs, but I always help if I can.
Hope you have a great time Cath enjoy your family time and Easter away.
Hope Olly is recovering Shelly.
Hope everyone else is OK
Linda :o) Xxx
