Evening everyone
Linda, I hope your dad will be feeling better soon
Managed to get some washing out this morning, there were a few black clouds now and then but the rain stayed away.
Maddie you're making me feel puffed out with your keep fit :-)
We had chicken curry for tea tonight I saw the Prince Phillip prodramme on ITV a couple of weeks ago, interview by Alan Titchmarsh

Evening all, Linda hope your dad recovers quickly. Dermot loved the mother in law letter, brilliant. My mother in law is great, we have never had a cross word in the 32 years I've known her. Hope everyone is ok, I'm on the trail of my erring Grandfather :-S Back tomorrow. <3

Remember this Ayds advert c.1982. We don't see this product in the shops these days. Talk about the wrong product name at the wrong time.
"Lets all get Ayds! Diet suppression chocolates. Use Ayds only as directed".

Dermot I can actually remember selling these in Boots the Chemists when I worked there and how can it be possible to eat a caramel toffee and it help you to loose weight.
I have wondered where they went?? Can't remember seeing them or a replacement for years

Good Morning All.
I know what you mean Linda. As soon as I wake I have to get up, I can't just lie there. The sun is a little sickly this morning. But trying to break through. Friday, hurrah. Got all weekend off. So will be able to do something for myself for a change.
Just off to do my 5 mile run, I pop my i-pod in my ears, and sing along to it, make the running easier. :-)
I dont think I will swim this morning. Too chilly.
I tried the bike last night. I got to Buckinghamshire and back, so not bad going. I am gonna crack this tri-athlon lark. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Do try my detox drink, it may taste a little strange, but think of the wonderful health properties.
Hope everyone is feeling a little better this morning.
See you later. <3

Good morning to all, cloudy and dull down here at the moment, hope the sun comes out :-) Maddie your exercise regime puts the rest of us to shame :-S Lol. The dreaded weekly shopping to do today :-( but I'm not looking after the little ones this afternoon so will do a bit of weeding and tidy up of garden and pots. Youngest granddaughter is staying over tonight, she's a laugh a minute and great fun but gets up at the crack of dawn so no lie in tomorrow. Hope everyone on friendly is well and has a good day. <3

Morning everyone, hope you enjoyed a peaceful night.
Breakfast is ready.
Cereal, porridge or fruit, Grilled bacon, poached or boiled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms. Toast, hot rolls or waffles, jam, marmalade or honey. Tea, coffee or juice. Please help yourselves.
Has anyone plans for something special this weekend? I am going to have a quiet, restful two days, {at least I hope I am} Chris is taking Scarlett to see the In the Night Garden show and she has a ticket to meet Igle Piggle, [anyone with young children will understand what I'm talking about]
Stephen was the flooding near where you live, was very surprised to hear about it on Thursday [think it was Thursday]
Hope you all have a good weekend and are able to relax. Take care and stay safe . Jean xx :-) :-) :-)

Morning All,
Maddie are you expecting to WIN ALL the MEDALS :-P Just ease up a bit I need a medal as I never got one the last time... :-S
Agatha....Enjoy your your caravan stay.
Linda...I worked in Boots too....I was a Consultant for Dior then, and happier there than in the larger stores.
I might take my lovely dad .........plus his wife without her wooden spoon for an afternoon tea on the moors in a little tea house ...this afternoon..
My evening went well ,my sister is a night owl and didn't leave until 12am and I was tired....but we had a laugh as she is going to be a great grandma !!! Her grandson a handsome lad only 19yrs is having to get married in July, such a shame as he had joined the RAF and was doing very well met another RAF female ......., bang goes his young years.......baby will stop all that !! But she is a lovely girl and they seem very happy , so who are we to trouble & strife over it. My sister said well it happened to me and she is right it did she was 19yrs, but I think we were more mature in our day... the younger generation has so many more opportunities than we ever did. So that's one of the weddings I'll be going to.
off for my bath....

Morning all, it's not a bad day here, quite sunny and warm. I haven't put the washing on yet but it shouldn't take long to dry today.
Hope your dad's a little better today Linda, it's a worry for you with your mam not being able to look after herself.
I have to go out and buy a new lappy today because my hubby's lappy is useless and he keeps taking mine. Think I'll give him this one and keep the new one........ he always seems to break them.
I'll be going to the cemetery later because it's a year today since my sister died, can you believe it's a year already?
Have a good day everyone.
~~~~~~~~~~ to Marilyn, Shelly, Mo, Rita, Linda, Lady, Yvonne, Stephen, Dermot, Jean, Maddie, Pat, Cath, Agatha, Sally, Barbara. Hope I haven't missed anyone's name off....... apart from my own.
PAULINE I remebered today was the anniversary of your sister June death. that year has gone bye quickly to me but I expect it has been a slow one for you and today must bring back memeories Bless you Pauline.
I had a letter to day from the Rotary Club inviting me to an afternoon out, they are taking 12 of us in four cars a drive around Surrey and then to a tea at a Garden Centre,where we are having tea and cakes. and then they bring us home at 5 oclock. I have to let them know. It is the first time the Rotary Ckub has contacted me.
We had heavy rain about 11 o'clock this morning and I heard thunder. I was just looking through my wardrobe to see what to take away with me on Sunday,
Evening All ...
Where is everyone ?
I never did get my dad to go out this afternoon as it was lashing down with rain, so its gonna be another time.
I started to put all my hard work onto my tree ,but GR was not having none of it Grrr.
I could not get into GR for about 4hrs , I have now added on the Suggestion Thread that we ALL ought to have a months Subs for free !! :-S
Dont suppose they will ever read it .....but I was really angry as I could'nt do any adding on my tree .... So we went to the local shops in the rain ..LOL I had to get some fresh air !
I'm going to watch telly for a change as I have now added to my tree most of my findings .
Speak to morrow..xxxx :-)
