LOL Mo, my mother always changed channels if anyone kissed. In fact if it looked like they were going to kiss, she would jump up and change channels.

I wonder what our fore fathers would make off the things, that we are subjected to on the T.V these days. It's a good job that there is an on-off
switch on them these days with a remote control as well.
Remember how long it used to take to get them turned on,in the past.
And you had to get up and turn it in and off as well. Lazy we are now.

we didnt have a Television when we were growing up we were poor but I never thought much about that we found things to do we had an old record player you wound up. and we have lots of records we also had two raidos although they were called wirelesses then.
we mostly played games like Ludo, tiddle winks and darts as well as chess and draughts we also use to do Puzzels the small table always had a puzzel there growing as someone put a piece in the right space as they went by.
I went to clubs like tennis club table tennis club and dancing I was quiet content. when I look back now I was as green as they come no wonder my sister and l were given books to read when we got married by then I had a good idea what was going on.

If I was going out wih a boy Mum use to say bring him home or let him meet you from the house so they always could take a look at them. some they knew

strange how people had different up bringing then.
One night stands we had never heard of.

Rita,I did not see much TV,till 1959,as we were abroad in Malaya, for three years prior to that. I believe my aunts and uncles had a television back in 1952ish. Wasn't that about the time that the queen came to the throne,as I seem to remember them watching her coronation, and us having the street party.

Gotcha Shelly.
When Roly goes up the club on a sunday lunch time,he tells the grandchildren he's going to church,to sample the wine. They often wonder why the service goes on for so long, and he comes rolling in the front door. lol
Sorry Rita I cant answer your question.

LOL Mo, is that why they call him Roly, 'cause he rolls in the front door after he's been to the pub?

How can you pass beef off as chicken, it's a different colour, did they think you'd burnt it when it was beef?

I've got 4 pages of new ones but it won't let me see them. I'll try again tomorrow.

Going to have a look at the meat now, see if it's cooked.
