Well so far it's been nice today. Walked to the postbox, though then it was trying to rain. After lunch while little one sleeps I have done a bit of gardening. The sun was shining and it was quite warm out......................... I didn't even need a jacket !!! Have done some pots with lillies and pansies. I do so love their little faces. Then I swept the patio out back and cleared some of the borders of leaves and weeds so quite a productive afternoon. Of to eldest daughters for dinner tonight. So won't be around much, will try to get back on when I get home.
Love to all Linda :o) XxX
PS I nearly forgot I had my friendly robin by my side all the time I was out there and then a blackbird started singing , it was so beautiful. Maybe spring is coming.

hi all,
Rita, I remember you telling me about the accident in Martham when you first mentioned you lived in Norfolk at one time. It's strange about the post number and funny about the cliff fall, glad you could see the humour in it, even tho it meant you couldn't go there any more. What a good thing you and the dog weren't there when it crumbled away. I hadn't realised there was an erosion problem so near Yarmouth. It;s not an area of the coast I visit much altho I had relatives in Caister for a long time, the Neves, and my brother's wife came from Caister too, Warriners.
Mo, so you have to put a smile on when the lovebirds return then? Hope they can find somewhere to live and won't rush into marriage as o.h.'s son, has, no sooner engaged and she was arranging the wedding and all on a tight budget it seems. I still see it ending in tears! (probably mine, of rage and frustration when I get landed with sorting out the mess, that's what usually happens with his sons!)
Lots to clear out of my email box so better get off here, love to all Lizxxx

Hi girls v ery chilly here this morning but I hope it brightens up later on. I want to go out and buy my "Chat " and "Take a break " books as well as renew my lottery ticket , didnt win anything last night.
Liz I am surprised you didnt know anything about the terible storm we had in the early 90's I think it was we had a lot of the bunglows on the clift at California collapse into the sea. we had furniture floating on the sea and all the bunglows broke uo floated down towards Yarmouth. we had the police come around in cars with loud speakers telling us it was a red alert warning us to get ready for evacuation my children in London phoned me to make sure we were alright they had seen it on the BBC news. Large lumps of the cliffs fell onto the beach blocking the beach so the beach cars could not go along there. It was the worse I have ever seen or been part .of the goverment gave the go a head for Great Yarmouth to get the large Granit stones to help shore up the rest of the cliffs and the work went on for a year we had big Ships come over with the special stones from Norway and Denmark. I have photos somewhere of the before they started the work and afterwards we lost the best sandy beach in Norfolk .yet we still had trouble with landslides along that cliff.

I'll have a cup Shelly, it might warm me up - it's freezing here.
I've just had someone out to look at the new carpet I got because it has a fault in it. He's going to order me a new one today.
I've got someone coming out tomorrow to have a look at the new footstools because the hinges aren't on straight. Does anyone ever make anything properly these days?
I hate getting anything new because there always seems to be a problem with it.

Rita, I remember reading about that storm and seeing photos in the paper, it was terrible.
Could be another wedding in the near future then Mo.
Wonder how long it lasts. Never mind, she might change after she's married, she might turn out to be a good wife. You could drop a few subtle hints about cleaning and cooking.
I've got to go out soon, going to see my sister.

Hi all. Liz he wont be getting married for a long time. He has got to get divorced from his first wife, before he can do that. lol He is in love with the idea, off being in love,if you can understand what I mean. She is eight years younger than him,so he is a sugar daddy. Well he would be,if he had a job to come back to. Rita and Liz,we used to holiday at Caister every year, when the children were younger. I can remember about the cliff fall as well. We loved going into Yarmouth. And going to the market that was there. Pauline,I don't think she can care for herself, let alone him as well. But she will have to learn pretty quick, for when he has his children to stay overnight. I know he can cook,so at least the kids wont starve, bless them. I missed you last night Shelly,I thought you were going to come back and have a chat. I wonder what happened to Linda today. Come to that,we have not seen Yvonne or Lady for a while. And our Sue has deserted us again. Shame on you Sue.

I have not got back to you today had a nose bleed this is the second I have had since the warfarin level went up so I take it must be something to do with that..? Mo the beach at caister was the best beach for miles around it use to go right out to sea when the tide was out ( before the war there was a Hotel on the sea f ront and that vanished under the sea. but at times the ruins would appear above the water line and a couple of brick Turrets they used during the war on the beach came up as well.. when the big granit stones where put down it was like a giant mountain and glittered in the sun if you sat on them they were often red hot.. but the beach went smaller and smaller because of the sea. it backs onto the Warmers Holiday Camp.
I wonder what has happened to lady and sue and Yvonne. They might be fed up with us and waiting till marilyn comes back did you see the thread of an elderly lady she reached 100 today what a birthday that must have been. but it appears the hospital she is in has a bug so they could not have a party. isnt that a shame to reach 100 and not be able to have a party but she got a telegram from the Queen.

I'm back from my sisters now, God, she is so ill - very hard to see her like that. And not a thing I can do about it. I don't know how much more she can take.
The weather isn't so bad now, the rain's stopped and it's a bit milder.
I got a cert in the post and it's the right person, I need to get it scanned now so I can put it on my tree.
Do you all know that it's Sue's birthday on Saturday? I won't tell you her age in case she's ran off with a toy-boy and doesn't want him to know how old she is.

Rita, maybe you should tell the doctor about your nose bleeds, you might have to alter your medication again.

Oooh come on Pauline, tell us how young Sue is going to be this year. Rita, could you ring the warfarin clinic, and ask if the nose bleeds are a normal thing to be happening, after your medication increase. You are a worry to us all,and we want to be sure you are o.k.
