Hi girls.
Talking off mobiles,why is it when people talk on them they have to shout.
And I find it so funny when you see car drivers,obviously on their mobiles,but have the ear piece in the ear,talking away to the person on the other end,but look like they are talking to themselves.
My grandchildren,can send me a txt,and I send a responce,but they can send a reply so quickly that I feel I have only just answered them,and they are asking another question. I think they must use predictive txting,at least thats what I think it's called. Whereas I can only txt normal,and it takes me ages,just as it takes me ages to type on here.

iv been looking at gazebos for the garden
iv seen one that will do nicely in wilkinson
i dont have a very big garden so carnt have a big fancey one
it will have to go right in frount of the back door

Shelley I have had some good bargain from Willkinsons in the past I hope you get one.
Mo Mobile phones drive me up the wall they are fine to use for emergencies or even if you are shopping for someone and want to ask them if they would mind having such and such as the one you asked for isnt available. but In London you get these people on a bus at a bus stop with a speaker on their lap and shouting into that we had a chinese young woman and I had to tell her to tone it down as she had been on it for 1/2 hour the bus was the 1 hourly one and I could not put up with that for another half and hour the other people at the stop mouthed thank you to me.
I have a sore throat this morning so have been garggling. I have the doctor for blood test at 10 and then this afternoon at 4.30 The hospital.
I bet the others are all smuggled down in their beds thinking I have just a few more minutes.

Yes I had a few more mins snuggling .!

I got a house full tonight got my brother & sisters & OH coming for dinner.
So this morning off to do the veggies.

Guess What.???????

I'm off again on Monday for a week in North Devon , although my older sister lives there I am staying in a Hotel that was advertised at a reasonable price,
So its breakfast & evening meal so will eat a light lunch with my sister and take her out and about as she is a widow.
She will love her sister taking her out as she lost her hubby in a motor bike accident at the age of 50yrs.

Rita don't forget to tell the Doctors Or the Hospital about your nose bleed.

Shelly...I know why you want that Gazebo to pretend it your cottage with Climbing Roses all around don't you ?????

she was telling me she went to the WFHS last night and they had a talk on Willesden and the stars that were born there and lived there she mention Twiggy I have just told her she went to school with my daughter it was a girls school in neasden I am suprised she didnt know. as I heard my daughter speak about her.
I am already now for the doctors I have just got to put my coat on it takes 3 minutes to walk there but 10 if I am not well. l want to do some shopping afterwards incase my cold gets too bad.

what part of North Devon are you off to Marilyn.is it on the coast.

Rita the only chance I get to stay in bed a bit longer is at weekends, during the week I have to be up at 5am every day. At weekends I make the most of it and stay in my bed till about 8am.

And never worry about how much you write on here, it gives us something to read when we log on.

I must admit I never have a conversation on my mobile, I only use it if I can't find my friend in the shop, so it's just a case of asking where she is..........3 words.

Mo, I type slow as well, takes me ages to put some of my posts on here. I use predictive text on my phone, but I'm still slow compared to the young ones. I can't even think as quick as they move their thumbs. I have to look for the the letters I want to use but they seem to be able to do it without even looking at the phone.

Are you leaving your hubby at home next week Marilyn or is he going to Devon with you? Is it warm where you are now? It's bright an sunny here but freezing, the grass was all white with frost this morning.

Shelly will you be able to take your gazebo with you when you get your new house?

Yes Hubby coming with me.....cant leave him at home he might miss something ..LOL But he does most of the driving so I DO need him !

Just done all my veggie's and went to cut the swede up and it was rotten right through.....only bought it yesterday from a well known store. guess it happens, so hubby has gone out to get me another one ..Awwh Bless him

Pauline I have watched in amazement at these young ones texing, how do they do it so quick ? on the buses is a classic.

So busy. 2 littles today both are sleeping after their lunch. Hubby out for a bike ride just waiting for him for our lunch together.

I logged on at 5 and typed it all out and it vamished this keeps happening it is driving me up the wall.

I went to the hospital left here at 4 got ther 25 minutes later I waited 10 minutes to see the RA consultant he said I am proud of you Rita you have done very well you should be proud of yourself (I had no idea what he was speaking about. ?)
He said you still have a water infection (I dont know how he knew that as I had that test down three months ago.) He told me I was to have another blood test and water the blood test I have to make an appoinment at my doctors to get this done the water test to be done before i left the hospital
He also told me I am anaemic I said I am not surprised as I am only allowed three tablespoons of greens a week. he said that has nothing to do with it. he told me to cut my Thyroids down I said I will have to tell my doctor then as he put me on the higher amount then he changed his mind and told me to stay on the thyriod I have also gained 3 lbs I need to cut down what i eat and walk a lot I pointed out it could be the increase in Steriods.
I have ti wait for for appointment they send them through the post to you now.
I was ome here 3 .past 5
so I have no hospital appointment now till 11th May the results of the scan

Sounds like god results for you today then Rita. No hospital till may is a bonus for you. You only need to find out about the nose bleeds now. And if you are anaemic,could this be causing the bleeds.

I have sent the warning out to Bognor,about the lady in the bikini,who will be sitting on the beach on saturday afternoon. They have alerted the lifeguards,who will be on the lookout for you. But your OH has been banned from wearing his hankerchief on his head,on the beach. LOL

I was going to look in and surprise a friend Doris as well we have been friends since we were five years old and that is a Long long time she is the one who lives in Bere Ferres. she had been a mayor there a couple of times she is still on the council and she is in her late 70's l dont know where she gets the energy

we have been invited to the anniversary celebration to the scout group we belong to it is their 75th anniversary this year
But he will not beable to go due to his illness.

How do I get to the Wills on Ancestry I am still trying to find out about Great Uncle Walter whether he is Isaac Walter Lee or Walter Lee I had the idea perhaps he left a will if he didnt marry he must have left his money to someone it use to be s easy finding them now I am desperate,

Hello girls.
It is going to be very quiet on here for a while again isn't it Rita.
I will be around some off the time,so will Pauline. But Shelly,Yvonne Sue and Lady have deserted us.
I wonder did Sue renew her membership,only I think she was due for renewal at the same time as me.
At the moment we have decided not to have a holiday Rita. Cant really afford it love.
We have been to our sons new rented property today. I have spent most off the day up to my elbows in soap suds. I dont think the previous tenant
knew how to clean the oven,it was disgusting. But it's like a shiney new pin now.
There was a leak from under the sink,where the other people had taken their washing machine out,and not bothered to put a blanking cap into the
pipe under the sink. So as I was washing things down,and throwing the water away,it was all going into the sink unit base. I wondered where all the water on the kitchen floor was coming from. Stupid me not noticing.
Well the floor got a double clean lol
Roly had to go and get the blanking cap,and fit it on for them.
My sons girlfriend actually worked very hard,cleaning the bathroom. I could not face doing the toilet,ha ha so I got her to do it this time. It made up for me having to clean the pub loo's for them that time,when she sat back and watched me.
My son and his mate,painted the two bedrooms,and then the bathroom.
We have worked like trojans today,so now I am sitting down doing nothing for the evening.

im still whating for me dinner daughter that is still at home with me wanted to cook the dinner she wanted me to show her how to bake a pie with roast spuds she started at 5.30 and im still whating for it

Mo you do spoil that son of yours he is lucky to have a mum like you I hope he appreciates you. I know what Mums are like with their children we all try to do everything we can but I wonder if the appreciate it ?

I am going to have a holiday this year with my sister we are going to Weymouth in Devon in July for a week I manage on my pension just ? as we have high maintence payment s and I really mean high people are shocked when they find out but I dont spend alot. I asked what happens when I can no longer pay the maintence charges as they go up higher than my pension they said your'll have to claim on Social I told them no way. they cannot thow me out as I own the flat but not the lease
