Rita, you're young at heart and that's what matters.
It's nice that you have a big family, you can sit back and think none of them would be here if it wasn't for you and your husband. I bet you don't forget your anniversary, my mam used to have to tell me when it was mine.
Mo, I'm having curry tonight - but I'm making it myself. I know it's chicken because I killed it myself .............. that last bit's a lie - I got it already beheaded at Asda.
Edit: I'm going for my bath now, then I'll be having my curry.

I am sorry about the bee stings but had to laugh Pauline, imagined the contortions of trying to suck the sting out yourself, when it was in the sole of your foot! I can't even reach to cut my toenails easily so for sure wouldn't reach under my feet lol But imagine having to ask someone else to suck one out of your foot, ugh, it would have to be love to do that! Hope Pete had his teeth in when he did your sting Marilyn lol
Well the latest bit of news: the son who proposed to his girlfriend in January and a couple of weeks later said the wedding is in August , called round last evening to tell us he and his future wife are already pregnant!!! They waited for the 12 week scan which was yesterday and then told everyone so now my o.h. is strutting around as if he had something to do with it, heaven help them if the baby takes after him! The girl is lovely but was desperate to settle down and have a family as she is already 30 and thought she was leaving things late, but I think even this has surprised them, the son said they had talked about getting married and starting a family quickly but I don't think it was meant to happen this fast, and now she is having to have the wedding dress altered. She will be 28 weeks gone at the wedding and surprise, surprise her best mate who was a single mum and met a new man 6 mths ago, is expecting too and is 7 weeks ahead, so will be 35 weeks gone - she is a bridesmaid!! She has said to me in the past that o.h.'s son is a good person deep down altho they have had troubles in the couple of years they have been together, so I hope they aren't making a big mistake, the son is so like my o.h. I worry for the girl. She is going to have to go back to work at least part time when the baby is born as they took on a big mortgage just over a year ago, but at least the house they bought is big enough for a baby or two as they have four bedrooms. They live 40 miles away. We won't get to see baby much as o.h's exwife already invites herself to stay with them once a month, she tried to fix it to be a regular date but they manage to put her off sometimes, she is very clingy but not maternal if that makes sense, she just likes to be in charge! I have been asked to knit something as none of the other mums knit, so I will enjoy doing that but won't start it just yet as I have until the day before Guy Fawkes Day and I will wait to see if they find out what sex baby is. Oh well, something else for o.h. to boast about lol

Morning Ladies Hummmmmmmm
I have read your going on,s if you can call it that. I am doing a quickly here as I have t get my shower before all the little phone calls and workman appear. First off Marilyn when I lived in Ealing many years ago I lived next door to a Homeopathic Doctor (he had a photo on his desk of the Queen Mum signed he told me he had treated her at sometime but I dont know if he did ) He trained at the London Homeopathic College ) anyway I was stung by a wasp and he treated me he cut an onion in half anf rubbed it on the wasp sting which had started to swell then. and within wo hours the swelling had gone down and I was fine. a few days afterwards Ann who lived a few doors away from me (very elderly ) screamed as she moved her compost heap to turn it over she disturbed a nest of bees and her arms were in a terrible mess. The doctor was not in so I did what he did to me and rubbed a cut onion it up and down her arms and it took all the swelling down. I have no idea why this happened, when the docotor came home I took her to see him and he said thats fine but gave her a couple of little white tablets to take.because of her age. I have no idea why this worked perhaps it was a fluke but it did the job and I still do that if I get a sting now.

Morning all.
Rita, the bees often nest in our compost heaps as well - hubby seems to get stung nearly every year. I'll remember that bit about the onions if it happens again this year.
I hope the excitement of the wedding doesn't start the bridesmaid's labour off, Liz. I'm surprised the bride doesn't want to bring the wedding forward.
Shelly didn't you tell us all to stop you if you ever thought about going to another BBQ with the muppets?

Iam back had my shower made the bed had breakfast. then answered two long long emails. I had to print them off to reply to the many things on them. My Granddaughter Stacey is allergic to nuts (she carries a pen with her to inject herself )she is also allergic to Mushrooms and bee stings, it was a night mare when she use to stay with me in Norfolk (sometimes three months at a time ) when we ate I had to be so careful at what I put into the meals. if we ate out which we did oncea week I use to ask the person behind the counter to please use a clean spoon when dishing up because they often used the same spoon to scoop baked beans up and mushrooms. I saw one scoop up a nutty filling and then scoop someone baked beans up.
Have you been to Vote yet Shelly ? I will be pleased when it is over and done with I am sick to death of all this mud slinging that has been going on They will promise anything to get into number 10 they want the money

Pauline does your husband sprinkle lime on the compost heap. ?that sometimes stops the bees. I used Jeys fluid on mine I didnt have bees but I did have a big slow worm and a grass snake my husbands f riend lifted it out for me the grass snake I am speaking about and put it onto my rockery he use to go into a hole between two rocks and the children thought it was great not me I dont like creepy crawleies they use to look for it each year., The rockery surrounded a pond and I thought the snake might fall in but he didnt. the cat sat on the paving that surrounded the pond and ignored the snake , The onion I told you about we used that for bee stings for years my husband use to tu tu it and say he beleived in mind over matter he did too. the doctor was indian we moved because his surgery became so big he was open most of the evening as well as during the day and it was a terrace house so i could hear all that was going on he was a lovely man but with all the cars parking it got my sons and husband down. so we moved to Norfolk.

No Rita, he doesn't put lime on the compost heaps but I'll tell him about it.
When he sees a nest, he drops the fork and runs - there's always a couple of them that catch him though.
We've never had snakes in the garden, probably too cold for them up here.

I have found a website that tell you all about Warfarin ad levels and what you can do and cannot do 15 pages I have read. so I know when the iNR is between 2.0 and 3.0 this mean my blood is theraepdite. when it goes below rrange Ie. 1.05 this mean my blood it too thick. and I risk blood clots. (thats what I am taking this warfarin for ) if my INR goes above example 4.05 it mean my blood is too thin and I am at risk for heavy bleeding. so I am telling you all incase you at sometime have to go on this.. makes me laugh to tell you drugs that interfer with your warfarin and guess what ? I take some of these Gout Tablets.Thyrioxine steriods.. all bad with warfarin. my letter came through and it read 3.50 so I have to make appointment for another blood test on 18th
