Lovely and sunny here today........Linda its our turn in Devon to have the sun that's why its overcast where you are ..LOL

Today I'm going to see my grand daughter do her Diving .....cant wait ! apparently she looks like a black ant diving off the boards , hence her black costume and her tiny frame of an 8 yr old ..LOL My son tells me she has no fear whatsoever .......

Hi Jean ...one day nearer the end .... CHRISTMAS !!! Whats that ???? ...Jean couldn't you sleep last night ? I see you were up at 3-38am !!!!!!!!

Oh my god I don't know what to do with my self this morning , no sister to talk to , but at least I can talk to you all without having her glued to me ..LOL

Well i'm blowed, it's been very quiet on here today, the last post was from Marilyn at 8.30 this morning.
There's our Jean becoming a night owl, like Shelly used to be.
You should both arrange a time to log on for a chat, LOL.
Oh Jean I wish one of us lived nearer to you, then we could accompany you to the hospital.
Mind you, you might not want me there coz I can talk the hind legs of a donkey.
And if you feel tired out after the treatment, you would be glad to be rid of me, to get some rest.
But in circumstances like yours, most of the people there are going through the same treatment,arn't they.

Linda what type of card have you got to make, with little one today. Is it for mum or dads birthday. Ah bless her,she will thoroughly enjoy herslf, getting all gunged up. But I don't envy you all the clearing up afterwards.

How did the little black ants diving go then Marilyn. I bet you were as proud as punch watching her.

well i think looking like an ant is not to bad
now grandaughter could of done worst and looked like a bee and had yellow strips going though her divibg sute

linda i love sticking and glueing with the little ones and i thank the person who invented the glue stick
now have you tryed puting glitter in the runny glue its brillyent as the glue drys you can see the glitter it save all that mess trying to poor the glitter on the wet glue and haveing to shack it all off

Well little has gone. It was a thank you card for her Mum's God Mother !!! How nice that the art of saying thanks is still there for some families.
Yes my daughter has finally got all her thank you cards off for all her gifts too.
It is only what they are taught as youngsters. How can you keep a phone call, or a text or even an e-mail?

I have to ring the Dr tomorrow at midday............. oops not the thyroid, but to do with the diabetes. I'll let you know when I find out.

Painting I do with the older ones but not much with a 20 month old.

Just got back from diving , and yes I nearly died seeing her jump 10 mtrs oh my god did I scream out loud ......my son told me to be quiet ..LOL

They don't seem to see danger do they ? My son I mean ..LOL

Anyway I wont be going again for a while as she did show off a bit ,and thought it was funny that I was there, watching !!! then said to me at the end Grandma don't panic so much !

We went out for a meal after .....and a stiff drink !!

Now home relaxing...

Shelly and Linda, I have sent you both the e.mail of the little dog, so that you will know what I was on about.

Been in to water next doors garden.................... funnily enough they are dog sitting for their daughter, hope they don't loose one. Then I did the front garden where we've put in the new plants.

thanks for email, I have seen it before but it always makes me laugh.

Am a bit low after this week of o.h. being on nights, it's thrown me with the different times and not having the car or being able to get out easily with him about.
Yesterday Thursday, was awful, he got home around 6.30am and came up to bed and then there was all this noise, it turned out neighbour over the road, was having his drive brick weaved so a digger on a lorry and another lorry and a van turned up, all parked almost under our bedroom window which was open for air. There are no front gardens in this close, just about a couple of metres at most of grass verge in front of each house expect that neighbour doing the drive and the one on the other corner, so the vehicles just parked where they could, never mind anyone else, people couldn't get in and out of cul de sac, milkman had to walk down from the end and the noise, it was awful. The workmen were shouting conversations, and in the end I got up and slammed the window shut but the d/glazing is old so not very effective. I went and found some earplugs for o.h. as he had to be back at work at 6pm and I stayed down and had a cuppa and a headache pill then went back to bed, but I kept being woken up by the various sounds of the digger etc
O.h. went out when he got up and asked how long the men would be and said he was on nights, and they said they will be there as long as it takes on Friday but would try not to make too much noise. The first machine is a whacker which compresses the soil before they start laying the bricks, lovely!
I just can't seem to concentrate on much at the mo with the tiredness. Next week he is on a fortnight of 6am to 6pm so still not good and he gets so tired and tetchy too I will try to go out most afternoons so he can get ready on his own, then I don't get the blame for making him forget something.

The wedding is on 28th August and I have yet to go out and get shoes and a bag and his shirt, he hasn't tried on his suit so might have to have a new one, and needs a white shirt by order of his son. Personally I think a pale lilac one would look better on him especially if he wears his dark suit, but the son thinks he should get a pale grey one to match his and the bestman and the father of the bride, I don't think it matters about father of the groom matching, it's such a casual wedding so not as if it's posh stuff.
Oh well, will see what happens when he tries the other suit.

Whatever he wears, he will spill something down the front soon as look at him lol He's messy like that!


Will catch up with folk soon, just need to get a bit more sleep first, so apologies if I have not yet thanked you for cards etc I will get round to it.

Morning all, I didn't get the chance to come on yesterday because I had company during the day and hubby used my lappy last night because his was acting up.

I'll have to try and sort it out for him before he nicks mine again.

Got a hospital appointment this morning so won't be around again........until later.

Rita, I hope everything's OK, is your daughter alright?

Jean, it's such a shame that you don't have anyone to go to the hospital with you. If one of us could make it - we'd be able to keep you talking to try and take your mind off it a bit.

Liz, it sounds like they are trying to make this wedding look like a posh one with all the men in matching shirts. I know what you mean about him getting messy, my hubby's like that, he doesn't like to eat out because he always spills something. Makes me wonder if his mother ever taught him to eat properly.

Marilyn you must be so proud of your granddaughter, I wouldn't be able to watch without being frightened for her.

I could have done with having Linda and Shelly here yesterday to help me keep kids happy - had family here all day.

Mo, I want to ask you a couple of questions about that hospital appointment your hubby had - but I haven't got time to write the pm at the moment, got to get my son ready for the day centre now.

Pete bought a white one for my last cruise .
He's never bought anything in there before but only wanted it for a dinner suit for two nights. we were going to ditch it afterwards ,but I washed it and it came up lovely, so keeping it now ..LOL

Hi I am still here. it was a funny day for me yesterday I logged on and answered a thread then I forgot to go on Friendly then I had a visitor and forgot all together.
My daughter goes for he MRI scan today so I do hope it is nothing seriouse we have had so much bad luck in this family over the past year it is unbeleivable.
My Granddaughter has spent most of her life in and out of the hospital the longest stay was year. she was rushed in Monday with pains in her chest she was in so much pain they wanted to keep her in for three days but she said she could not she had three children.so they let her out the pain was caused through her constant use of her crutches.she has to take things easy for a week now, good job Brett is home.

I had my blood results from my INR (Warfarin ) back it has gone down slightly and i have to go back for another test on 24th August. so that day I will be having three lots of blood tested.

Mo that was funny I had to laugh was it your bum I was looking at Lol.

The flat that was my friends who died three years ago has been sold to a man it will be strange to have the flat with someone living in it.again .it is in my block of four.

Marilyn, theres nowt wrong with clothes from Primani, thats our name for the shop.
I couldn't believe it when my son, who always wore top branded named clothes, started shopping at Primani. Some, I agree wash very well, others are apt to shrink at times.
Well who's going to be going tonight then Maz. It would not surprise me, that your favourite Ben goes. Sorry but I think he's a little weazel, he snivels around the others, he's a little Ar*e licker. I think young Andrew will be safe, coz he's a sweet little innocent, so naive,and he lurves Josie.
