Mo in Kent Report 22 Jul 2010 21:33

Hello Jean, Roly is fine after his hospital visit,so much so that he has gone to darts tonight. As long as he does not drink for 48 hours he will be fine.
Good luck for tommorrow, and then a nice restful weekend. I will speak to you tommorrow. Night Night god bless.

Ooops missed your post Linda, sorry about that. What colour wool are you using this time. I would like to use a fleck wool, but
it may be to much for a new born baby though.Unless I can get pale coloured fleck, I think I will check in our local wool shop.

Mo the wool I am using is pastel shades of peach, blue, aqua lemon and white. It was from our local shop and makes stripes of colour so you can use a plain pattern. Actually when I used a pattern once it was a waste of time and effort as it dissapeared. It is a gradually changing wool so the blocks of colour are random.
Sleep well everyone

Off to bed now

Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 23 Jul 2010 02:49

Hi all,

I am sorry, I did say I would get pics done when I had the two outfits to choose from but then decided the BM one wasn't right so stayed with the dress from bhs. If I get a chance I will try it again and get a pic but won't have any accessories with it as still to buy shoes and a bag, probably white or smart black sandals with a heel or wedge, means I will be taller than o.h. but who cares, everyone is except his stepmum lol When I first met him I put all my high heels away and bought flatties but fed up with them now so wear what I want. I need some strappy sandals but not too high and not too fancy and some I can wear again and again. Then I will choose a bag to go with them, was thinking just white till I noticed a little black in the pattern with the different shades of purple, and mauve, almost a grey in places and lots of white background so black won't look too heavy. Could even pop it back on Sunday but would then be stuck if I can't find anything else so I think I will stick with it, will ask my son when he comes round on Sunday what he thinks. No point asking o.h, he has no idea about colour or fashion, his son said thank goodness Liz chooses your outfits lol, he has often told his dad to change in the past when he has worn something son doesn't like lol

It's been a difficult week with him on this course, and me staying out of bed till he gets up at 6.30am so I didn't disturb his sleep, but thank heavens, he passed the exam and is ok now - will still have a job so can maybe keep me in the manner to which I would like to become accustomed if he would cough up more often lol

Very tired so will love you and leave you, glad the treatment wasn't too awful Jean, did you do what I suggested and imagine us all standing behind you
Hope everyone and families will be ok - sorry I can't go through you all individually, brain is mush these days

love and hugs
Lizxxx

Mo in Kent Report 23 Jul 2010 16:16

Cor Shelly, I don't want you wiping my bum thanks, mind you , you wouldn't want to go near it anyway. pmsl

Marilyn what have you done, put a tree for rent on your family tree or something. All these requests that you are asked for, thats what you get for being so popular. lol

Linda that wool sounds really nice,I will try and get to the wool shop tommorrow,to have a look. I quite fancy a peachy colour mixture,at least that way it would suit either sex.
It will be nice for you to see the official wedding album. We bought quite a few when our lot got married, mind you it cost us a fortune.

Just had a thought Shelly. If you have got five bedrooms, when the kids all leave home,we can come to you for a holiday. I don't mind sharing a room
with someone, just as long as I can use the bog on my own, i'm not that proud. lol
Chuck the old man out for a week, and we can have a good laugh between the lot of us.

It would be a good idea to let your son see your outfit Liz. He wont be as negative as Im Indoors.
As you say,any colour accessories will go with your outfit. But as we will soon be coming into our autumn, black would be more useful. But then a nice pair of white shoes, could be saved for your holiday.

Has Pauline posted today, I cant remember. I will have to have a read back over the pages in a minute.

Heres hoping that Jean got on o.k today. If you are looking in Jean ~~~~~~
and HUGS.

A big HELLOOOO to Elizabeth as well.

Hi everyone, we've got beautiful sunshine today, makes a change from yesterday, doesn't even look like the same month.

Hope Jean's OK after today's treatment, you can have 2 days off now Jean before you start again. Good news about your scan, at least it isn't getting any worse, that's a good start. You just have to get this new lot knocked on the head now.

Linda that wool sounds nice, I remember knitting with a mixture of powder blue, white and baby pink. The peachy one sound lovely though.

Marilyn you haven't got time to help all these people, just pass them on to Shelly, add it to her list......lol

Liz I'm glad to see your OH passed his exam, he might be in a better mood now. You never know - he might take you out for a meal to celebrate. But don't wear your posh frock, you might spill your dinner on it.

Linda, I bet you can't wait to see the photos, bet you'll want to order loads of them.

I said 'bet' twice in one sentence there, makes me sound like a bookie.

Shelly I hate to tell you this ........but your lot might never move out, they get well looked after at home so they won't be in a hurry to go.

Hope your sister has a nice relaxing holiday with you Marilyn, it'll be nice for her to have company.

Mo, where have you gone, have you rushed out to get some more wool? You've got plenty of time, she's got a long way to go yet.

Mo in Kent Report 23 Jul 2010 19:01

I hate to say this, but we don't seem to have had the rain that everyone else has been having. We did have a few showers, but nothing to write home about.

Pauline, I know the birth is a long way away, but it's soo exciting, anyone would think it was me that was pregnant. Thank the lord it's not though.
I am dreading her going into labour. She doesn't seem to be able to take any kind of pain at all. She don't know what she's got to look forward to, does she.
And I know she likes her sleep, huh, thats a joke isn't it. We mums got hardly any sleep did we, when our babies were born.
I used to try to stay awake, for as long as I could, so that baby had a really late feed,so that I did not have to get up so often during the night.

Elizabeth, is it right what I have heard. That is there is a man around your way, named Noah, who is building an Ark,as he heard from the weather man about lots of rain in the area. lol...
I will parcel up some of our sunshine, and send it to you. I hope you will enjoy it.

Marilyn are you looking forward to BB tonight. I do hope it livens up soon.
I have got to the point where I am fed up of hearing " I,m lovin it " and "are you buzzin,I am ". Don't get me wrong, but is that the extent of Corrin's vocabulary, if so what must her girlfriend be like.
And JJ must be thick if he did not realise how much his stalker Josie liked him. I am fed up of the pair of them as well.
The programme needs a good kick up the backside,to make it more interesting.
Thats probably why they are putting three more people in tonight. But lets hope they are more fun than the last three, that entered the house.

Hello

I am back from my holidays got back this afternoon, had a lovely time weather hot everyday no rain at all. The Hotel was lovely we had such lovely room and food and the Hotel staff were so nice makes all the different to the holiday we went to see a show "Oliver" first nights opening and sat near the Mayor Lol.
It was excellent show and the threatre was full . I went to Portland Bill and they are building like mad there hundreds of houses ready for the Olypmics they are holding the boat races there.
we went for a day trip to Guernesy and enjoyed that as well. never been to Guernsey before.. also went to Lyme Regis and saw the little house that Jane Austins "Persuasion "was made and walked along the Cob where they all walked on the book
so you see I have been there and done that. I would recommend that place to anyone one . our Hotel had 402 rooms so you can see it was big but very f riendly.. Marilyn I missed the Brucie WDYTYA I was on my way back from Guernsey so l take it nothing came out of your family then
perhaps they will show it again sometime soon.?
I came back to find 14 emails waiting for me.also had a letter from my GP had received a letter from that consultant telling him Rita was not happy with his decision to change my tablets ( f rom that Doctor I told you about who kept messing about with my perscription) my GP sent me a copy. My own GP is going to look after me for my PMR.
I also got a letter for my cancer scan for 3rd August so you see I have all my hospital appointments coming up again.good Job I had my holiday.

Hope you have all been good while I have been away ?????

Love Rita

Oooooh Rita welcome home. It's good to hear that you had a fabulous time. I hope you both behaved yourselves, and didn't get to saucy with the waiters in the hotel.
We have missed you love,it's good to have you back.
Have you got loads of washing to catch up with now.

Rita

Rita Report 23 Jul 2010 21:11

Hi Mo

Yes I have a lot of washing to catch up on. but that will have to wai till Monday now.
I bought some lovely t-shirts while in Weymouth at the market not dear ones but I liked them so treated myself. they do have big markets in Dorset you can go to one four times a week one place we went to there were market stalls in all the roads we had never seen so many.
we had a couple of things happen while away we were on the second floor and I heard a terrible noise I said to Sheila what on earth is that only to look out of our big windows to see a air rescure helicoptter hovering outside doing an sea rescure. you could see the pilot it was that close to us.
Then on the way home on the train we had been on it for about 15 minutes when they gave out over the radio that we would not be stopping at one of the stations as a parcel had been found on that station people who wanted to enligten at that station had to go on and a taxi had been laid on to transport people to that area.we were going to whizz pass the station in question we did and I saw THREE POLICE CARS AND A POLICE VAN SURROUNDED AROUND THAT TRAIN STATION. I dont know if it was anything other than someone forgot to take the parcel with them.
we also had a motor cycle rally going on I was thrilled to bits to see so many Harley Davidson motor cycles. there were about hundred bikers. everyone stood and watched. The bikes all polished and spotless The bikers where no trouble.

Welcome back Rita, glad you had a good break, the good weather makes all the difference doesn't it. Plus good company of course.

Good evening Elizabeth and Mo.

Hope you have a good weekend Jean Take care.

I have just got to sew the cardigan together now, knoitting all finished it is a pretty colourand would be suitable for a baby boy too. The wool is by James C Brett called baby Marble Double Knit Shade BM7, 100g made a 20" chest cardigan. I hope you can find something similar. It is sold in our local shop, not specialist wool shop.

Oh my dermatoligist appointment has been cancelled, and hubby has booked a day off for it !!!.
But the consultant has already been back to my GP about the reflux and I picked up a prescrption this afternoon so start the medicine tonight. I have been feeling a bit odd today, all my muscles ache and my left arm feels like somebody has punched it? Hope it's not tendonitis that I had a few years ago as that was agony.

Been in the garden this afternoon and got the sheets washed and dried after the damp start.
Have a coloured wash to do tomorrow so keep fingers crossed and another BBQ in the evening with youngest and the new family get together. First into nextdoor to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Too many things happening and not enough weekends off for hubby.

Catch you all tomorrow. Sleep well.

Linda :o) XxX
