Right ladies My own Dr has gone on holiday !!! after morning surgery. As his wife also works there that means we are 2 drs down.
I spoke to another Dr who I have seen before. It seems my sugar levels are 6.6 6 is OK 7 is diabetic. Another fasting blood test in a weeks time. Lucky me. But I have the endocrinologist next Thurs to do with the thyroid but also diabetes so might talk to them first if they seem to know anything. Usually it's the registrar and a different one each time too. So great continuity of care there.
Have been for a walk with hubby this morning before our main meal and now he has gone to work.
So glad to see you Rita. We all worried when you didn't add.
Try to get back later

Linda, by your diabetic reading, it doesn't sound very high. Roly is on Glucophage tablets for his type 2 diabetes, and his readings are between 6-7,and his doctor is not overly worried about it. But he keeps him on his medication, to keep it at an even level. He knows lots of people who are diabetics, and they could not believe the doctor putting him on tablets,as their readings are 10 plus. But as we said, we would rather take the doctors advice, and keep it under control with the meds and diet. Try not to worry to much about it love, you will be fine.
Just had a thought, we have not heard from Jean today. I hope she is o.k. Hopefully we will hear from her later today, after her treatment.

SO where is every one. all gone off on holiday or out shopping. . l saw the man who had brought the flat in my block he is about 6ft 2 tall and must be about 62 I would think ?
I hope Jean is OK it does take it out of you all these hospital visits. My son in Law is getting there he is eating slightly more now than he did two weeks ago but it is only a small amount he has got terrible thin. I love him to bits it makes me so sad to see him like this. I hope that my daughter gets on OK I dont think he could cope without her there all the time. she is dibetic as well and has thyroid trouble. when I lost my husband way back in 1989 I stayed with her as she had back trouble so bad they took her into hospital and did a spine operation her. I stayed there for 6 weeks looking after the family and the three children.as she could not do anything. they are really unlucky.
Mo I thought that women with her dog and sat in his d.s I had to look twice to see it was the dog.
be back later.

Hi everybody.
Have you got hiccups Jean? ...lol Bet it's a relief to have this week over, 2 long days rest now. Don't blame you for ignoring the housework.........you just do whatever you want, to make yourself happy. The housework isn't going anywhere, it'll keep.
Rita, glad to see you weren't ill yesterday, I hope your daughter's scan was OK today. Are you chatting that new man up already?
Mo, I've sent you a pm. You're doing the right thing by keeping your hubby to the diet to stop his reading getting any worse - he doesn't want to be on injections.
You'll get sorted out yet Linda...........one of these days you'll get a doctor that's interested enough to find out what's wrong.
Are you having that BBQ Marilyn? Think I might join you.
Shelly will probably turn up about 10pm............lol

My youngest Son John us to go to school all smart in his uniform it took me ages to wash and iron his things his sports stuff as well.I would meet him from school somtimes when I was shopping nearby the school he would come out one sock pulled up the other rolled down on his shoes his shoes would have scruffy toes and his knees would be dirty he always had his shirt hanging out of his trousers with long trousers or short trousers. and his hair was in a terrible state I hated looking inside his satchell as his shorts from football were always caked in mud worse when it had been raining The other son MIke was entirley different he came out of school the way he went in clean and tidy. except for his football gear John weara a suit to work and is very smart Mike wear cool clothes as he is a paramdic and wears a uniform.
No Pauline i have not chatted him up.who want a fat old girl chatting away to him.I think they use to say in the victorian times" Bag piping "

Cor blimey Shelly, what are you doing here this early. It's good to be able to speak to you mate. You watch now girls, she'll be gone, and i'll be on my ownio again, talking to meself. lol
Jean good to hear from you love. Now just you sit and relax tonight, and tommorrow get out and enjoy yourself. When you say you will enjoy your horses, do you mean for real, or do you mean the gee gees on the horse track. lol We are going out for the day on Sunday, with the family, down to Hastings. First thing we start of in Alexandra Park, to allow the kids to let of steam. We have a few games of footie, play rounders, then the kids go on the boating lake. After this we go down to the beach, where the children go on the amusements. Then on the way home we will pop into a Harvester for a meal. It's our yearly annual family outing. Oh don't get me wrong, we do meet at other times, it's just that all the grandchildren love to have a day out together. Plus we enjoy it as well.
Maz we will have to wait and see whats going to happen tonight. I read in the paper that Jedward, and Davina are supposed to be popping into the house tonight. That should be interesting, especially if they are all still supposed to be ignoring everything that is going on around them.
Rita, ignore what Marilyn has been saying about your new neighbour, if you fancy having him in for a coffee, then go for it. A toy boy is just what you need, uhhhhm I don't think so do you. He might get you doing his washing as well. LOL
Ahhh Shelly you love your little loveable pest really, and you would miss him if he went down to Maz's. ( yeah she says like a pain in the head) I got more enjoyment from my sons than my daughters. Dirty knees and everything else that went with them.
Wheres Linda tonight, did she say if she has got anything special on tonight.

Hi all, are you all having a relaxing evening? I am in bed, having a cuppa and watching Corrie, will be watching show jumping later, love it, England won the big competition this afternoon Shelly, your 13 year old sounds like my son was at that age, but he changed when he left school, and cant get him out of the bathroom now. Rita, I do hope your son-in-law continues to get better, give him my best wishes, and your daughter. Pauline, lol, I was having computer problems and kept pressing the send button cos it didn't seem to be working. Marilyn, did you get the rain? it has been very wet here, was glad I didn't have to go out this afternoon. Mo, I enjoy watching racing and show jumping, I used to do it when I was much younger, but now I just exercise my horses. well I will wish you all good night. Take care Jean xx

Night Night Jean, god bless.
Linda, I am watching eastenders as well as being on here. I think the plot at the moment is good. Marcus keeping Denise captive next door all that time, and nobody knowing. Then he held the whole family captive, oooh so exciting.

Hi all, can I just say despite not writing separate messages I do feel for all you people with sick rellies or having treatment and wish I could concentrate enough to send you all messages of support individually. Not because I don't care, just because I am so tired and befuddled at the mo, so much to think about here. O.h. hasn't been given any overtime so will be about all weekend, he has decided it would be a good opportunity to go shopping so we have to go and get the shirt, will remember Primark but not sure if they will have his size, he is portly to say the least lol I told him he has to try his suit on in case we need to get a new one, and check his collar and chest size for a shirt. Even he thinks white shirts for the wedding are boring, the suits the groom etc are getting are very pale grey, with white shirts and light mauve ties, how wishy washy is that? the bride is wearing ivory/cream dress with cream and lilac flowers and I don't think ivory/cream and grey go very well together, do you? My son is panicking about getting his suit and shoes for his mate's wedding in two week's time, the theme is retro so he has been round all the charity shops to try and get a suit but no luck. I went to see him last evening but he is so down, with not having enough money, he said going to the two stag dos cost over £90 as they went paintballing as well and he can't really afford that out of the small wage he gets and with all his bills to pay, shame he can't find a nice girl with a flat so he could move in as o.h.'s sons did, then he could sublet his flat and get himself straight plus be happy with someone nice to share his life. He deserves so much more than is happening for him at the mo. His friend is making a sweetie stall for his wedding reception, all sprayed silver and the children can go and get cones of sweeties and such to keep them occupied - he is an ex kitchen fitter so good with his hands. I bet that wedding will be a lot nicer than the one I have to go to.
I will have a look in Primark for some shoes and a bag while we are out, and need to get some lining material for the scarf that I want to make into a stole from the dress from Bhs but will look round other stores too in case I can find what I want there, while he is around with his credit card lol
I am hoping I start to feel better soon - my counsellor asked me to think about something on Monday and jot down my thoughts and would you adam and eve it, I can't remember what she said. I think I was so distracted by the thought of his different shifts upsetting my routine that it didn't sink in lol Oh well, will have to own up and try again next week. She brought me a cd about hynosis Paul McKenna talking about emotional overspending but I haven't had the chance to listen to that either, will do it next week when he goes to work early, I was planning to use it today till I found he had the day off, darn it!
Take care all of you love Lizxx

Morning all Tea and biscuits to start off (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? \_/? \_/? \_/? \_/? \_/? \_/? @@@@@@ ###### It not a good start here as it is raining, that drizzly type that soaks you through. Good for the garden but not so good for the street party today, especially as most of it is in a field !! I feel sorry too for those having a wedding today after so much nice weather lately. Also of course those going on holiday too.
Managed to do knitting, but haven't finished the pink cardigan yet. I have been given a new pattern by Little M's granny and I want to do one of that too. It looks an easy pattern with only one button fatening at the front. Definately for girls.
Oh well enjoy the weekend Girls
Will see how it goes this morning.
