Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 22 Sep 2010 14:36

Tut Tut, Rita, Marilyns of again on holiday, she did not get permission, did she give you a note requesting this break away. If not shes not allowed to go. Mind you marilyn has not been back to America YET. She's such a gad about that girl.
We are only jealous Marilyn.

Oh Pauline, what a shock that must have been for you. Did the other workmen know what to do, or did you have to take control.
As Shelly has said, gloves are the order of the day, but, in the case of an emergency, they are not always to hand are they.
It's not like we carry them round in our pocket, or perhaps we should, we never know when we are going to need them.

No Stephen today then, I thought it was rather quiet.
Thank goodness I was up early to prepare breakfast for us. LOL

Hi Linda, Jean, Shelly,Liz ,Yvonne I did not want you to think I had forgotten you.

Marilyn, why don't you pack your case packed tommorrow, that way they won't get to creased.

I have sat here and PONDERED on whether I should let her go off to St Ives ? a big PONDER but thought i had better sign the chit so she can go it was her brithday recently so I suppose she deserves a break,
Shelly I love MOuse Hole and St Michaels Mount my in laws lived in Camborn Cornwall and I use to go there alot. although mother in Law was born in scotland. while there in 1971 I met an artist painting St
Michaels Mount I said to my husband John how lovely it was. he brought it for me. I gave it too my son a few years ago for his offiice in his house. it hangs on the wall and when I go there brings back some lovely memeories.

Mo in Kent Report 22 Sep 2010 18:20

Hi Shelly, I couldn't fit surgical gloves in my bag. By the time I get OH's rubbish in there, and the kitchen sink theres not much room left.
I wonder why it's always a womans handbag, that when you are out that the OH says, can you just put such and such in your bag.
When shall I expect you and your daughter round, to clear my garden then mate.
I can't believe Roly, he went up to B+Q's today, to get some paint, and came back with some decking for the garden.
Yeh o.k, the weather for the next few days is rain. I suppose it will be like everything else, he gets these brilliant ideas, and goes out and buys the gear to do them, and thats as far as it goes.
He bought two bedside cabinets, about 18 months ago. But they have to be made up, even though they are pine, guess where they are, yep, still in the shed. He bought a paint on covering for the shed as it leaks, back in february, thats still in the shed. He also bought boarding to renew the roof inside the shed, well yes thats still waiting to be done.
I gave up moaning about it years ago, but very frustrated.
I know I sound like moaning minnie don't I, sorry.

I hope you are all o.k. Love to Jean and our Rita.

Rita Report 22 Sep 2010 18:31

Mo ,
Get the whip out for your Roly....not good enough !!

I bet Shelly would get that done in a jiffy ...LOL

I'm getting fed up with my Ancestry Tree I got some names wrong and cant find the cancel button. The reason why I like Genes tree is that its simple I can understand that one .
I have asked Pauline to help.......might get Shelly if Nurse Pauline is still in shock.......

I'll sit and wait ....Pauline patiently ...twiddling my finger at the ready....

Hi all, I had a hospital appointment today (after the street emergency) and then got company, been busy teaching my great niece to knit.

Shelly, you're right about the gloves but it was an emergency, like Mo said - it's not something I carry in my pocket. I was worrying about the blood at the time but I couldn't leave him. There were only 2 other men with him, one rang for the ambulance and stayed on the phone telling them what was happening with the jerking and frothing. The other one was on the ground with me trying to hold the lad on his side, we were both covered in blood. I don't know how he is because I never saw the men when I got back home.

Have I missed breakfast?

It's been a loooooooong day.

Went to bed at 1.45 am was up again at 5.45am.

Arrived home at 8.45 tonight.

What! No cross Channel Swimmers. And here's me lined up former Olympic Swimmers to act as your Coaches. All of them still bronze hunks.....they were so looking forward to meeting you all.

Need to think of something else.

Ski Jumping perhaps or Parachuting....that would be a laugh. We would probably land everywhere except the right bit.

Shower, supper then bed.

Night all!

you should be as fit as a fiddle at your age.

so after my HORLICKS I am taking a book to bed with me so I relax after being on this computer.
