Mo, what about wearing smocks and strapping big bags of food underneath so we look pregnant? We'd be able to sneak loads of food in. The men could have extra large sporrans.
I'll bring a few loaves of wholemeal bread under my smock.
Maddie, I've just had a google of Bobby as well (hadn't thought about it till you said), he's quite a dish isn't he? Stephen, does Bobby still have his looks? He can sit beside me on the jet. Got in there quick before Rita got her eyes on him.
By the way........where is Rita? Hope she's OK
Stephen, If I google you, will I see a photo or be able to hear your voiceover?
One of my uncles had a voice that I can only describe as double cream, he was a fabulous singer.

Madeleine, Glad you took the time to serch out info on Bobby. He was the best at the time. Our Swimming Club, The Falkirk Otters, produced a number of grand swimmers. The pool was only 25yds long. Bobby could cover that distance in a few strokes. Our weight training room in the basement of the baths had a low ceiling, alright for wee guys like me, but Bobby was tall and had to do above head presses sitting down.
Search out my other friend that's coming along, Tom McLean, he's about as daft as I am, well so my wife tells us both. 'Not a straw to pick between you pair...your both crazy' We just laugh. Not sure how to find him on Google. Try 'Tom McLeans, Adventure School, Scotland'
Got a couple of winners with them!!!!!!!!!!

Found him...
Ex Paratrooper and SAS soldier
In 1969 he was the first man to row the Atlantic single-handedly in just 70 days
In 1983 he completed a 3,000 mile voyage across the Atlantic in the world’s smallest yacht to reclaim the World Record which he had previously beaten in 1982. In 1987 he captured the Transatlantic rowing record for Britain
In 1990 he sailed the Atlantic in a 37ft long bottle shaped boat from New York to Falmouth in England.
Well, I think we should definitely pick up a couple of golds with Tom on our team.
His photo's in as well.
Edit: They spelt Britain wrong!

Tom could take us to Dehli in 'Moby' his big whale. It's huge.
I've a photo of Tom and I holding the scale model of his whale when it was just a dream he had. We spent hours discussing the design of it and what the interior should be like. Then like all good designs it was forgotten about and 'Moby' came to life 'just as a happening'. He is a great guy and has a lovely wife and family.

Maddie, I have one suggestion,as to where to put the mince pies, in ya bra. It would require non sweaty arm pits though,as they might become soggy. LOL If you got a bigger bra, you might be able to fit two pies in each cup,and no one would notice under tabbards or capes. They might scratch a bit though.
My baton twirling is coming on great, I only dropped it once on my last attempt. The mud in my bath was not such a success though,I got it all over the bathroom walls, and it took me ages to clean up. So I have decided to create a mud bath in the garden. I have dug a big hole out the back, and put loads of water in it, so tommorrow I am going out to give it a try. I will have to get my OH to wrestle me, so that I get a bit of practise that way,it's no good wrestling myself, I keep winning.

Well Maddie,as I have got short hair I am going to get extensions put in, might get dreadlocks, i'm not sure yet. On second thoughts, maybe it would be best to leave it short,as it's so flippin hot out there. I suppose we could get wigs, if so I will have a long blonde one, so that I look like Pamela Anderson. If you borrow Jordans bra,can you ask her if I can borrow her boobs.

(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Tea or Coffee, Pure Orange Juice, All-Bran Cereal, Prunes, Grapefriut Segments, Brown Bread toast. Muti Vitamin Tablets.
Morning All ! Ready for the Spa Day.
Only the best for Team GR.
You are going to Duncan Bannatynes Health Spa in Hastings.
The Luxury Coach will cruise around and pick you all up.
I've arranged with a Royal Navy friend for one of the Rescue Helicopters to do a 'Training Flight' and pick up Marilyn in St Ives. Euan is the base Commander and if he can't swing it....no one can. He's due me a favour anyway.
Don't worry about the expense, Duncan Bannatyne is a fellow Scot so he has agreed to 'donate' the treatments.
Go to it Team GR.
Have a good day ya all, see you in Hastings later.
Stephen.
PS Hard FROST again this morning....looks like it will be another nice bright day.

To All The Friendly Thread Folks........
What do I look like?
I've got to tell you this one.......
My wife had arranged to pick up a colleague for the first time and take her to the office. I was driving. The person we picked up got in the front seat and my wife introduced us.....'this is Veronica'.....I looked at the person and recognised her......we had known each other many years before...she was a member of my sailing club...... 'this is Stephen'.....says my wife.
Veronica looks at me......'Stephen!'....she exclaimed,' my goodness I didn't recognise you' 'It's your voice I recognise'
She then turns to my wife and says, Quote.....
' He USED to be gorgeous.....we were all after him'
unquote.
I was upset for TWO reasons......
1.' USED to be gorgeous.'....thant means I'm not that now.
2.' We were all after him'......If they had only told me that..... I could have had a ball.
Ah well, some you win some you lose.

I wonder what has happened to all our friends , Yvonne, Jean Liz, Elizabeth, Marilyn. (even when away she keeps intouch) Lady and Sue. Have we frightened them away ?

Very quiet.....they must all be out for early training runs.
Hope they remember the coach is picking them up for the Spa Day.
Have still to tell them that Tom , Bobby and I are already here. We arrived last night.
It's lovely here. The girls will be overjoyed at all the pampering.
They should arrive soon.

Hi Stephen
It might be this cold weather that has put them off. ? some people are like that Lol
Electric blankets, thick coats and radiators go on along with their woolly hat. I have been out the front and swept the leaves up as they looked very untidy and were blowing everywhere.
I have finished doing the banner to display at the Games. To let everyone see who this medal winning team are. we will be headlines in the newspapers.. the media will have a field day. we might even get some money out of it. other celebrities do.
Rita.
