Wheeeeeeeee>>>>>>>>>>..bump, bump. It's no good, I must get this broom sorted. Cor that hurt, my BTM hit the ground as I came in to land. Puss will have to sit on the back, and not on the front, it's making my broom unsteady. I knew I should have put it in for it's MOT, before dusting the cobwebs of. How the heck am I to get this cauldron up to London. I wonder if Maddie has got one we could use. Maddie are you there, " Can we use your Cauldron " we can all carry potions and lotions, on our broomsticks, but the heavy stuff is going to cause a problem.

Marilyn,
Where are you going ?
Is it for the whole of winter?
Need anyone to carry your bags ? I wouldn't need a bed I can sleep in the gardem in a tent. Don't need any food....I can live off the land and what I catch in the sea.
I won't sing or tell terrible jokes.
I'm good at plumbing, painting, joinery, tiling and plastering etc. if you need your Villa worked on.
I'm not hinting too much am I ?

Can't believe I am the first to add this morning? Anyone for a cuppa?
(_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)?
Hubby has gone back to work, on early shift, leaving at 5:00 !!!
Hope you enjoyed your meal Marilyn and that your packing is almost done.
Rita hope you are OK and Jean too. Mo seems to be flying round in circles on her broom. When is the little one you've been knitting for due? Maddie is working too much, she somehow still finds time to pop in here though. Good to see you back again Liz, hope the baby arrives safely and they let you know too.
Stephen I think Pete might complain if you went on holiday with our Marilyn !!!
Oh well have to get round to a bit of tidying up today. Out this evening with friends for a meal, the ones who are having marriage probs.................. first time I have seen him since he was so awful to my friend. Will be difficult.
I had an armful of blood taken yesterday, should get the results next week and the hospital consultant the week after.
Have a good day everyone
Linda :o) XxX

Morning All,
Its not bad here . no rain just overcast......I know where the sun is because its waiting anxiously for me ..!! LOL
just put last bits of washing out ,so all towels & sheets have been washed ready for my return.....if ever..!! Thanks for the cuppa Linda ....lovely.
Mo ...take a break from that broom, you'll get a sore bum and a chill up there !! LOL
Shelly you know I would squeeze in if I could , but there is a weight restriction problem.......LOL ....You and All & Stephen could fly on yer brooms behind, although it would be a bit boring as I would be the one eating & drinking all that wine whilst thinking about you all ...
Awhhhh I'm really kind to you all , if I won the lottery ALL of you would be with me, I'll send Pete home , he'll love the peace.
Back later ironing to do......

Morning Marilyn and Jean it is warm here but overcast. I was thinking we might have to get an overhaul ourselves and the broomsticks due to Health and Safety regulations. I dont want a big fine. for a bit of fun .?
Witches flying past on Broomsticks. Black Cats leaping here and there. White-robed spooks on every corner. Mournful moaning in the air Goblins peering out of windows Spirit-things that rap and run But dont be scared its just October. Having one last hour of fun.
..................................
There's a Goblin at my window A Monster by my door The Pumpkin at my table. Keeps smiling more and More. There's a Ghost who haunts my bedroom A Witch whose face is green They use to be my family Till they dressed for Haloween.
see you later

Hi everybody, I've been out, got back and had to run straight outside to bring the washing in because it's started to rain.
Would you look at that......it's stopped now. Too late, it's in the dryer now, not putting it back out again.
Shelly, you should know by now that you can't get into Marilyn's suitcase, it's always bulging with new clothes. We'll all just have to do as she says and fly behind on our broomsticks.......although I've updated mine, I fly on a turbo charged vacuum cleaner now.
Jean I always have lots of sweets and treats for the kids on Halloween as well. We usually get loads knocking on the door, but last year we didn't get anyone at all. Mind you, it was freezing. Wonder if we get any this year.
When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween. When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, May luck be yours on Halloween.

Shelly if you're going to be the first witch, I'll be the second one.
Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake, In the cauldron boil and bake; Eye of newt and toe of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog, Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg and owlet's wing, For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

I dont bother to buy the sweets now as they never call here for sweets and I made myself sick once because I ate the lot of sweets I brought.for the children. I had an email f rom my sister, she told ne she had thought about making a apple brownie and she coooked it and it looked lovely she tasted it and found she had put salt in not the sugar. she said she felt sick. I sat here laughing as it the sort of thing she never does. I do things like that but not my sister. so she made another batch and they were fine. I said you must have . had a spell put on you from the witches.

Evening Ladies and Gent.
Just in from work. Gonna have something to eat, and relax for a while. Will be back later.
If my typing goes a bit haywire later on it is because I intend to open a bottle.
I deserve it.

Sorry
James McCallum was born in Dingwall Ross and Cromarty Scotland in 1841.his parents were James McCallum, and Margaret Graham,, They moved from Dingwall in 1842 leaving one daughter Janet behind with James Mother.
They moved to Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.. first..I think James worked at London Zoo for a few months(this is the father )
Their son James born in 1841 joined the Royal Navy. I found him in 1861 on board a ship "Excellent" the ship was in Portsmouth Harbour.and it gives his birth place Dingwall Ross and Cromarty Scotland. I could not find him after that till smeone in the Hot Matches who is related said he got married in June 1871 in Hampstead. Middlesex. to a Martha Fuller. his name was mis spelt and it was spelt as McCallu rn. and not McCallum
Thats all I know about James. I thought he must have died at sea till this information came.
