Pauline that looks as if that could be James wife.because the family lived in that area. after they moved from Aylesbury.

when James father died the family were living at Hampstead and Great Grandfather was a foreman on the roads.
I think Great Grandfather died in 1868 he 54 years old then. but Great Grandmother Margaret stayed in Hampstead.

Just had a call to say my Dad was taken into hospital this morning, not sure of what tests are being done, but being kept in. Will seee a specialist tomorrow.
Mum is distraught but going to stay with my youngest sister for the weekend. She has just been diagnosed in the early stages of dementia.

As my sister has to go back to her teaching job on Monday I think she may need to go into respite.

Well I'll keep you up to date as I hear things.

marilyn i will fit in your case im on a diet me and my 2 girls wead how self the other day and guss what wee all are 13 stone so all 3 of us must look like little humpa lumpas cos were all small at 5ft2 and 0ne is 5ft4

and now i no why i could not get my broom stick of the floor to fly

The McCallum you found before are part of my family they did come from Perthshire original came from Fortingall and Crieff. also Amulee and Dunkeld. some lived on The Black ilse.. .

Linda, I do hope your dad will be o.k. Poor mum must be frantic with worry, bless her. Even with the onset of dementia,she is very reliant on routine,and your dad being there.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

A little while ago I went into my bedroom to draw the curtains and looked out of the window. it was feet deep in water all the cars were standing in what looked like a lake. I didnt even hear it raining I was shocked.
good job I didnt take off from the car park on my broom stick it would have been a broom boat.

I have suffered this evening with heartburn I have no idea why. I dont get this very often but tonight it is bad. so I will get some milk and try that.

what a load of rubbish on TV this evening, I sat and did some of my take a break crossword book..

Hi Linda, sorry to hear about your Mum and Dad, must be very hard for you to cope with the news about them both. Please take care of yourself.

Rita, if there is nothing worth watching on tv I usually do some word search puzzles, keeps me occupied.

Thank you all for your comments on my parents health. When I hear more today I will addd anything I learn.
Just so sad that this has happened now as they celebrate their Diamond wedding on Wednesday. And we were having a family get together on Saturday(next week).

Linda I'm so sorry to hear about your parents, it doesn't seem that long ago that your dad came out of hospital. Your poor mam must be in a right state with it all. You'll be so worried about it, especially as you don't live near them. You are all in my thoughts.

I saw your message come up last night but when I tried to type a reply to it.....nothing happened, then I realised my server had gone down and I couldn't get back on. The server has just come back up now.

Shelly, you haven't got long to lose weight if you want to get into Marilyn's case.

Marilyn, can you give Shelly a little bit more time?

Maddie, we all have photos of each other so we know what we look like when we chat on here. We haven't got one of you, Jean or Stephen............so we need them to put in the rogues gallery.

Pauline dont try and get Shelly into Marilyn suit case she wont fit she has a big box in the cargo hatch. for all the goods she will be bringing back with her. so Shelly can use that but I dont know how she will get back home.Just think Shelly all your family will be so upset at their Mum going away.

Pauline I managed to get rid of the heartburn being on Warfin I am not allowed to take anything from a chemist for it. so I try Milk first if that does not work I sip some Lemonade.

The sun is coming out now after all that rain last night I hope ot stays long enough to dry the pavememnt up. There was so much rain it could not go down the drains and it was like a water fall

Pauline you might put Stephen off if he thinks he has to display his photo on here. one email to someone and it can be passed a round.

Jean, Maddie, Stephen, don't worry about photos being displayed on the Internet.......they aren't!! We just email them to one person and that person emails them to the others. We'll send an email of all the ones we've already got so you can see who you're talking to.

We've got a good one of Rita in the Land Army when she was young, as well as one the way she is now.

Thank you for that information about Great Great Uncle James wife. it appears she worked for an accountant who worked for St Pancas university.. that is what it looks like the census is so feint it is hard to read.

I think you are the one to receive the photos or Shelly to pass them on. but the people dont have to send any photos if they dont want to. we dont want to put people off. Lol Marilyn will be a way for awhile. not sure how long she never said.

I have been to post a birthday card off to a friend in Norfolk I called into the Chemist to get my eye drops perscription
There were five adults with their dogs and the dogs were all fighting it was really scary I have never seen so many dogs out together as there were today.
I brought myself a fresh chicken from Waitrose they were on special so I will cook that tomorrow and it will last me for four days. I will be flapping my wings after all that chicken..
