Morning Jean !

MUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuncccccchhhhhhh !

SLLLLLLLUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrpppppppp!

Thanks for the breakfast......needed that.

\________/_____ Porridge pot.......dig in.

Winter has officially arrived in Scotland.....already we have had a couple of the higher roads blocked with snow.

It's a joke....you can almost tell what the Weather Guy is going to say when he comes to the Road Report....the same roads every year.....blocked.

Not minor routes....major roads to the Communities they serve. Fuel prices in these areas are a lot more expensive than we 'townies' pay. Add the extra miles that they have to make a detour to get to out of their area and the cost of travel rockets. Food like bread and milk is also a lot more expensive as is fresh fruit, veg and meat.

The education of the children also suffers when they can't get to school. High School pupils tend to be 'boarders' during the week so miss out a lot on family life.

Still I suppose living in a remote area does have some advantages !!!!!! ie you don't live in a busy town full of pollution etc.

MOAnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Over.

Lovely crisp morning here.

Hi Ho Hi ho it's off to work I go......well in a wee while yet.

Have a good day ya all !

Dame Shelly, will be think about you and the wee one.

Morning everyone
Bit brighter here this morning though I did sleep later, to be honest.

Finished writng the bulk of my cards yesterday evening and draft copy of my round robin letter. Not too keen on them but as I write a hundred cards and probably 30 letters I can't do them all by hand.

Have a good day

What a fantastic commute to work.

The sun was rising with glorious colours, this was shining on the snow on the hills I could see in the distance. The snow was changing colour by the minute.

Absolutely lovely.

Catch you all later.

Stephen, I love to see all the red colours in the sky when the sun rises, it's beautiful.

I've been out most of today.

Thank you for the cake Yvonne, I'll have it with a cuppa.

Shelly, how did it go, is Olly OK? It'll be strange for him when the bandages come off and he sees his hand is different.

Evening everyone. Been out and about most of the day.
Lovely and crisp and sunny. Makes a change to walk around without wet feet. Had my hair cut into a long bob, so that is most of the layers cut out of it now. Can really do my Audrey Heburn chignon now. lol

Thank you for your offer Rita. I did PM you earlier. Hope Shellys' little un is sitting up and is well. Kids bounce back quicker than adults. He will be up to mischief in no time. Trust everyone else is well.

Put me dinner in the oven, will be ready in about half an hour.

So, will be back later.

Pauline,

Every sunrise I see is a bonus. If it's nice....it's a double bonus.

Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 10 Nov 2010 21:05

I agree Stephen every sunrise and sunset is a bonus.
What I also like is the patterns that jack frost makes on the windscreens of cars, after a heavy overnight frost.
Frost on the trees and bushes are like a magical world to behold.
But frost bite on the fingers, when one has to go shopping, is a definate no no for me.

Ooops back from my magical mystery tour folks, down to earth with a big bump. It's flippin freezing again tonight. I am green with envy at Marilyn in the warmth in the USA.

Sorry the post below was me, it double posted for some unknown reason.
