So that's why Mo got up early, she's looking to see what Marilyn's brought back.

I know she's brought some nice diamonds back, but they aren't for us.

Due to a misspelling, a certain store was selling 'mice pies' recently.

Dermot they didnt make a mistake they were mince pies for the mice.

Pauline you can keep your snow or send it to Russia.

I had to go to the foot clinic this morning it was bitterly cold out , the bus stop usually have a timetable working letting you know where the bus was . and when due. but it was not working. I waited 15 minutes.it was empty when it came and cold I swear there was no heating on.
The bus had not been cleaned either there were old chips on the floor and papers and someone had dropped a bottle of drink.,
I got there on time to the clinic . When I came out, I walked to the bus stop which is on a hill and it was bitterly cold , I stood there 29 minutes nothing passed me. then a bus on the otherside of the road pulled up and the driver leaned out and said sweetheart it is too cold you standing there you have to go around to the Garage as nothing is coming up that side of the road due to a barrier failure.
There was no ice explaining anything. so walked , it took me 20 minutes. I was freezing when the bus came. at the stop as I got off was a sheet of ice. it was like an ice rink so I walked in the road till I had passed the ice.
I was so glad to get back home and in the warm

My oh my, I leave you lot for a few hours, and what happens, I miss all the gossip.
Hi ya Marilyn, good to see you home again for a week. Glad you got the card o.k, I posted all of them at the same time, but some are taking a time to arrive.
Watch out when you get out of your bath, Stephen is on the prowl, he says "Fluffy Paws" is on stand by, but it's him in disguise, he's waiting to whip your towel away, and see your sun tan.

Stephen, my darts are huge enough. They used to belong to the Assagai
tribe, they used them as spears, with poison tips on them. No one gets in my way when it is my shot, just in case they get more piercings than they want.

I have been back to the dentists again this afternoon. I have yet another lot of inflamation in my gum.
She may have to refer me to the dental surgeon at the hospital. A crown I had done, some years ago, seems have got an infection in the roots, causing the problems.
She cant do the root canal treatment I will need,as I have to have the crown removed, and the treatment done, and then the crown replaced.
The root canal treatment was done before I had the crown fitted, so I have no idea how this infection has occured.
I hope she does refer me,as I seem to be spending more time at the dentists than I need to,and I want this sorted out. I am losing faith in her now.
Going to start dinner in a bit, bangers +mash and beans tonight. It will be like the windy city here tonight. See ya's later.

Hello, hope you have all had a good day.
Thank you for all the lovely messages, I dont think it has quite sunk in what they told me yesterday.
Have had a great day, not done very much, took my Grandaughter to see Father Christmas, dont think she was very impressed, tried to pull his beard.
Are you all ready for Christmas? I am going to make a start tomorrow,
shopping for presents, normally I have finished by now, but couldn't seem to get going this year.
Going to do tea now,
Take care and stay safe.
Jean xx

Jean, you can now relax, and enjoy the season of good will.
Children either like or dislike father christmas don't they. Two of our lot screamed the place down when they were taken to see him, but the rest of them were so excited, they thought he was the pucker thing.
Don't buy all the shops up tomorrow, and wear yourself out.

Night night Marilyn, have a good rest.

Have yourself a nice hot drink Pat, you'll soon warm up. Marilyn is our water baby, she has her bath every morning, and does not like a shower.
Now me, I like my bath of a night time, all nice and refreshed ready for my bed.
See you later love. Mo

Stephen2009 Report 7 Dec 2010 19:10

Dermot....Sorry about your loss....is 7 old for a Guinea Pig ?

Patricia....swop you places.....we're at -12C just now......will go down to around -16C at dawn tomorrow....that's freezing.

Wrap up well and it's fine outside.

Saying that though there is still nothing to beat a cosy night in with a good book and a nice wee fire burning to toast the feet at.

Managed to get Mrs Stephens car to the Garage for MOT. The garage was snowed in but a farmer cleared it for Craig the owner. Won't know anything for a few days....the MOT tester is snowed in at home. LOL

It has been glorious here today and I enjoyed my ski trip to the village shop for a couple of things. All the hills turned pink again as the sun set.

Catch you later !

I have forgotten to ask for addresses, for me to send christmas cards to
some of our friendlies. If you would rather not confide your addresses, I will understand.

Oooh Stephen, you are soooooo brave, heading out into the wild blue yonder, to take Mrs Stephen's car for it's medical. LOL
Seriously, I am envious of you braving the cold and snow, I am like Pat, and would like to stay indoors till the sun starts to shine again.
By the way, your christian name was my maiden name, and when I write it, I am transported back in time, oh so many moons ago, when I was but a child.
